This post I recently saw highlighted that women seem to loose sexual interest in their husbands when they feel either overworked from household labor, or suspect an inequality of its division.
First, the post I'm making is not directly related to the article stapled. Notwithstanding the flaw I saw that the registered dissatisfaction with the relationship was notes through sexual attraction rather than emotional bonding.
Instead, I'm like to draw attention to the comments made at the post I linked. The overwhelming commentors jumped at the opportunity to mention how household labor ought to be divided at a perfect 50:50 ratio, notwithstanding the world fallacy that entails such a narrative.
There was a blatant, almost pathological, disregard for the fact that most marriage still have men as the primary breadwinner, by a considerable margin. In fact, a study has shown that men contributing more to the household has been noted to be a lower likelihood of experiencing divorce. Which all the more demonstrates how many women STILL expect men to be the primary breadwinners, while also expecting an equal division of household labor.
It's hypocritical at best; women, even those of high educational backgrounds, still have ambitions of marrying men of greater socioeconomic backgrounds, yet also expect an equal division of labor for the household.
Edit: I of course did not do this to shame any of the commentors, but it's to demonstrate how, when people are observed in their casual conversations, their double standards in men are obvious.
