No, I think you are accurate. There are psychologists and philosophers who are calling Woke Relativistic Ideologies, feminism and others, a religious cult because they act it is.

I firmly believe that humans cannot exist in a faithless society. We will replace one religion with a new one without knowing it.

Honestly I am happy that men of all races and backgrounds are waking up to this horseshit. For real this is just divisive, and trying to keep men from truly supporting each other.

For real watching this is like watching kids try to run the world because they think they know how. They have no clue about the inner workings of society. This is the equivalent to a kid running for president and saying "If I become president, then there will be recess all day and ice cream for dinner." It makes zero sense.

It always is so offensive to me when women and these institutions act like they are the know all and be all of masculinity. They don't live masculine lives or have the burden of masculinity to bear. They know nothing about what it is to live as a man yet they feel so comfortable and free to speak on our experiences and what masculinity is.

That is true white feminism sees itself as the second coming of Christ. Yet their sanctimony always seems to benefit white women at the top.

You will also see articles on black women are always written by white feminists like in the guardian when it';s women around the world. It's not a black woman or Asian women writing about themselves, it's all white Western women have interviewed women from other cultures and it is maintained that it's through a white female lens. The problem is 3-fold:

we are seeing women around the world through a white female perspective of minority women.
Western women are keeping themselves in jobs in publishing companies not opening it for all women
If women around the world over become critical of white feminism, white feminists can suppress or censor that out, where if minority women are the publishers they control what they print.

Anyway, you can see psychotherapy and psychology is completely captured by this left wing activism as white women dominate it. This is also a problem for male psychology where all male mental health issues are caused by "male privilege backfiring" "toxic masculinity" etc... That is not evidence and is counter-productive as it lumps a group together. This is understood my male psychologists in the APA.

Not meant as a comment on whether or not your assessment of feminists is correct, but the provided images aren't evidence to that point. The two pictures are asking for participants in a research on those demographic groups. I don't see the connection that makes this evidence that they feel those groups must be treated as sheep to be shepherded.

The first study in particular is asking black men to share their experiences as black men. That doesn't sound like they are trying to impose their will upon black men. It sounds like they want to understand black masculinity. There is nothing in that picture that suggests they feel they will be black saviors. Also, there's nothing in the picture that identifies the researchers as feminists. They probably are, but there's no evidence of that in the picture. I can see a pro-male advocacy group conducting the same study. If they did, I imagine most on this subreddit would probably assume that their motivations were positive instead of negative.

I understand why the "identify as" language is off-putting, but it's there because who qualifies as "black" isn't really easy to define without getting into race essentialism. For example, if somebody's grandparents are mixed, Mexican, African American, and white, but their skin is relatively dark, then they may or may not consider themselves a black person. *And also, because this study is asking for men, using that language makes it clear that transgender men are welcomed in the study.

Though I do agree with your sentiment, I would struggle to argue against somebody who'd claim that a lot of black people like seeing themselves as oppressed as much as feminists do.

Also, let's not forget that "studies" and the general narrative about masculinity is that it's only bad when it's white straight men. I'd anecdotically say that your average black man aligns more with the traditional, stereotypical masculine behaviour (what feminists often like to denounce as "toxic masculinity") but these traitsget criticised MUCH more when spotted on a white man. The black man is allowed to be masculine - the white man is toxic if he is masculine.

I'm white but I'm a trans man, and im so fucking sick of the way women and feminists (at least the ones that aren't TERFs) fetishising us and treating us like their fucking pet science projects, and using us as a way to show everyone else how "woke" and progressive they are while at the same time saying shit like "kill all men".

We're men when it's convenient to their narrative, except when we call them out on their "kill all men" narrative because then it becomes "oh but you're different to those men because you weren't born as one", basically reinforcing the fact that they don't actually see us as men.

I wish these women would just leave us the fuck alone. I get treated better and more respectfully by my fellow man than I do by women.

The "identify as" thing comes form the social constructionist world view. They view everything as social categories rather than innate traits. It's where things like Biden's "vote for me or you aint black" or the Smithsonian's infographic on whiteness come from.

Offering a reward for participating in a study isn't really a racism problem. It's pretty common for studies to offer a reward for participants regardless of the demographic they are looking for. The people who would do it out of the goodness of their hearts are often not enough.

Studying illness in racial groups is important as there are biological differences that could affect the best practices. Skin cancer being the most obvious example. That said I wouldn't put much faith in the posted study being good. That subject is particularly prone to garbage science.

They used to do this at Cal arts. White wealthy women would speak about “us” minorities. Their husbands were also white wealthy men but don’t mention that in the classroom. They were just using a cause and using students.
