On Friday, Supreme Court of Victoria Court of Appeal heard Ooms hoped her recent pregnancy might convince judges not to send her to jail should that appeal be successful.

Mr Gullaci told Justices Richard Niall, Maree Kennedy and Cameron Macaulay Ooms had got pregnant almost immediately after her sentence.

'Sometimes it can be argued that things happen at rather convenient timing. The date of conception - as we work it out - was the last week of March 2023,' he told the court.

‘It's about a month before the notice of appeal was served.

It’s honestly even worse than that. Her pregnancy came after the sentencing for her crime. She became pregnant as a tactic to avoid prison. If i was that judge, this would be even more reason to lock her away. She is in no way fit to be a parent.

She should be under state supervision 24/7 and the moment that child is born it should be taken into state care, because it’s obvious she has absolutely no intention to care for a living being, that child is only a means to escape prison. To her it isn’t a person, it’s just a legal tactic.

'It is a high risk pregnancy not only because of her fertility issues, but because of her mental health issues,' he said.

If she has mental issues, that is only more reason she should be kept under mandatory observation. That is more reason she should not be released into society.

Mr Gullaci said Ooms' state of mind was so fragile she considered aborting her 'miracle' baby.

How is that evidence of mental fragility?? That is what she SHOULD do! She’s a psychopath antisocial child rapist who got pregnant as a legal defense, abortion would be the most favorable outcome!

The 16-year-old had been grieving the loss of a close friend who died in a fatal car crash the week before and was in a 'vulnerable situation emotionally'.

The court heard Ooms had preyed upon her student in the weeks after his friend was killed.

This is literally grooming. She manipulated a child whom she had authority over during a time when he was in emotional turmoil. She is not a person who should be allowed into polite society. She needs to be locked away; she is a danger to children, to anyone she is granted authority over, to the emotionally vulnerable, and especially to any child she might birth.

Ah yes.. the classic "They can't put me in jail if i'm pregnant!" card..
Funny how not only do women automatically get more lenient sentences for the same crimes.. but they also have ways to try to further wiggle out of jail sentences..

Lets not even forget the fact that feminists in the UK want the criminal justice system to stop sending women to prison and to abolish women's prisons all together.. Men however can still be sent to prison..

The prosecutor is 100% correct here.. had the genders been reversed and it was a male school teacher doing this to female students.. he would be almost certainly be sent to prison..

And feminists tell us that "Systematic misandry doesn't exist"..

I am reading these comments and people are thinking that this woman is from the US or England, and she is not. She's from Australia. The way that judges appear and how laws are handled are different there. I'm not saying that this woman isn't a child rapist that deserves a long time in jail, she surely does. I'm just pointing out a main fact.

The sexual proclivity of judges in Australian courts runs rampant, with judges more concerned with their careers than the protection of children from sexual predators. This poor sexist pig in a wig has somehow completely lost sight of the fact that this predator abused her position as a teacher to gain access to underage boys, groomed and abused an underage boy who was in a vulnerable emotional state for her own sexual gradification, did so despite being in a position of responsibility for the welfair of that child, and has shown little remorse or understanding of her offending. Further, this sexist pig in a wig has shown no understanding of the harm done to this underage boy, or the message this weak sentence sends to other predators in our schools or otherwise caring for underrage boys. This judge has declared an open season for women wanting to abuse underage boys.
