I still think that the incentives of free lifelong money is a major contributor to this situation and it is borne out by the facts that overwhelming majority of child support and alimonies are awarded to the ex-wife and that women are in clear majority of initiating divorces.

The basics for this biased incentive is quite clear, to bring in as much money for the so-called judiciary as possible. You cannot really blame women for wanting free money (who would not) but the blame should squarely be with judges and their entourage for their cynicism in breaking up marriages for sake of their own profit. So, it has not so much to do with women but judges and lawyers making as much money as possible on family affairs...This is after all a billion dollar business in many countries.

I’m pretty damn sure I will never marry again. It’s just seems destined to fail, especially since own marriage is currently burning to the ground after a 17 year relationship and two kids. She couldn’t give two shits about destroying everything and slandering me in the meantime.

I believe this is a repeat post, but I agree this the reason most marriages fail. Married or not women are lonelier than ever and moving out of their parents home makes them even more lonely. There is no way a man can be provider, mother, mother in law, friend, father, girl friend etc. to his wife
