Genuine question. I’ve seen a lot of articles over the last couple years that’s regaining traction lately about how men where not hunter’s, that women where as well or where more predominately so. Or how our evolution wasn’t based on these factors at all. Is there any merit to this? Is there any concrete science to back these claims up? Or is it just an attempt to rewrite the narratives about gender roles and perceived strength? I don’t know how you can claim men didn’t evolve for hunting or atleast some form of violence when we statistically are stronger, faster, and less prone to sickness. And that isn’t just a blanket statement I was in the military and was able to observe these differences first hand, so I’m definitely hesitant to believe such claims.
