How do you see the future in 10-20 years?

I think the unraveling of the global ecosystem is going to massively overshadow gender politics 20 years from now. It's going to begin with mass migrations of hundreds of millions of people, spurring a massive rise in fascism in countries under pressure to accept environmental refugees. The drift to the right that's taking place right now will look like nothing in comparison. The associated destabilization, both political and material, is going to destroy the global supply chains necessary to sustain sophisticated modern amenities.

It will get worse.

It is no longer acceptable to criticize women for anything. A guy on Advice Animals combined that 6 different women gave him their number but expressed no interest when he later called them.

OP is blamed and shamed for every aspect of his complaint, and every bad habit expressed by the women is excused because of patriarchy and how dangerous men are.

When I pointed out all of the down votes and how the crowd wants OP to never talk to women and die alone, I am attacked for being negative!

There is no reasonable middle ground with feminists these days.

Guys, the game is rigged, and the only way to win is to not play.

Very hard to tell. We barely know what could happen a year from now. However, for the most part, we can expect things to remain as they are but with slight changes. I forecast that USA's standard of life (economically) might decrease as more capital shifts away from the western world and more towards Africa and Asia (especially China and India). Tying this to gender dynamics, with modern feminism being an ideology born out of materialistic luxury, there will be less of a "men ain't shit" mentality as practicality necessitates itself given the decreased economic capabilities of the western world as they average out with nations across Asia and Africa.

I think the over the top leftism will be rejected more in the next decade or two.

In terms of men's issues it all depends on if men get off our asses and organize discussions on male issues. There are signs of this even CNN had a man talking about the state of men. UN Women also had Dr. Richard Reeves talking.[ Although this imo is not totallyvabout the far left being tolerant. My view is feminism and left wing politics see men voting to the right more and is reacting to that with showing there is space for male issues, i think we need to look at it with a raised eyebrow.]

I also think the wars and economic impacts, inflation and cost of living and mass migration and threat of radical islam are going to dominate political debate.

If the left continues with its psychosis of pronoun mandating, regulating language, and focusing on non problems like sociology depts do it will damage left wing politics imo and feed voters over to the right.

Hard to say exactly, but I definitely see a lot of problems waiting for today’s young boys, who will be men in their early 20s.

Calling a generation of innocent boys “toxic”, “abusive”, and “creepy” as they try to navigate the world, will backfire.

Treating innocent kids as though they are criminals will reap a steep cost.

And saying that all men are guilty of the crimes of a few is insane.

It’s bigotry masquerading as Justice. Liberals would never say “all black men steal”, but have no problem saying “all men are rapists”.

How do these SJW’s think young boys will turn out if they’re born suspects?

I predict a generation of alienated, angry young men. It’ll be the anger of the unwanted, who were rejected even before they had a chance.

A sick part of me almost kinda dreams of seeing it - only because I think misandrists should have to sleep in the bed they made.

I don’t really want that. BUT the anger I feel toward the least intelligent, most vocal feminists now makes me sick. I feel rage when I think about kids minds being corrupted by bullying adults.

Women take no responsibility for any of their cultural crimes.

For the past eight or nine years, women have experienced a temporary, all-encompassing power to say whatever sexist, terrible thing they want - and it’s viewed as “Justice”.

Someone above made the excellent point that modern feminism now is about materialism. Yes. Scarce resources will snatch that materialism right out of their hands.

Added to which, I also believe that we’ll view today as “the good old days” economically and socially. That’s how bad I think it’ll get.

Scarce resources = the need for strong, self-reliant men. As there has been a war on the very idea of “manhood” for over eight years now, women will find themselves in quite a pickle.

Women will have no ability to fend for themselves. And they will need the men they spit on for decades. And that’ll be too late.

I predict a lot of strong men going their own way. Doing nothing to help women - who won’t be able to survive in a more barbaric climate. This will leave them at the mercy of “weak men”.

God help ‘em.

As far as male-female relationships go, I feel like there's going to be a shift in about 10 to 15 years, when most women of the first generation of Tinder users reach menopause.

At that point, it will finally be clear that current online dating (OLD) platforms contribute to female loneliness just as much as male loneliness; it's just that male loneliness is an immediate consequence, while female loneliness is only visible after years of women on the platforms hooking up with top-rated guys without marrying any of them.

Once the negative effects of Tinder culture are felt by women too, then and only then can we expect changes in the culture and laws related to OLD to save a certain group of women from the consequences of their own excessive selectivity. Creating a climate that results in fewer lonely men won't be the goal, but it might be an unintended positive consequence.

Doesnt mean I wont keep fighting though. Someone needs to do it, and the mainstream wont, so its up to us.

The only way things will change wrt gender politics is something that catostrophically destroys the establishment left. They will never abandon feminism and feminism will never cede ground to men. The best we can hope for is a new left that is agnostic about gender and that will only happen in the face of an existential threat.

Will men-women-relationships see a powershift? Will so many men give up approaching women that the latter in general are forced to change their attitude? Will sexbots and AI play a role in this?

Never. Men will increasingly check out at younger ages but women will refuse to change thier attitudes, instead taking their turn with an increasingly small pool of attractive men. The same kinds of technologies and social advancements that give lonely men comfort will also give women the ability to enjoy thier party years with elite men during thier youth, before eventually retiring from that scene into thier later ages without dealing with men at all.

Will there be some damage control, removing the worst parts of misandry, gynocentrism and double standards, while the core of it only gets stronger?

No. The idea of women being the default human is only going to gain steam, especially as the right leans into monstrosity, and I expect that as the statistics for men get worse, the desire for natural male children will decrease, and the new minority of male children will be the prime candidates for the eventual designer babies as well as heavy indoctrination into a gynocentric world order, so they that don't face the kind of struggles that natural boys might. Undesireable men may still be born to poorer families, but they will be relegated to doing the dirty work to keep society running until they are replaced by machines.

Will advances in (evolutionary and other) psychology destroy the dominant, feminist narrative?

Never. Psychology is already dominated by women. The idea of challenging the narrative of patriarchal domination is going to become an even more remote possibilty as the relevance of men continues to decrease.

How long will it all take and why?

With the rise of AI, it shouldn't take too much longer yet. The question is whether or not the Right overthrows governments and sets up fascist state that eventually gets toppled by a revolution (if we don't all nuke ourselves first,) or if we continue on down this path to the point where men sink down to the underclass of society.

Most women are surrounded by men who don't fit the feminist propaganda, but they keep that fact to themselves because they assume they're just lucky. They don't relate to the idea that men are violent, creepy, slobbish and useless, but they don't want to question the supposed "lived experiences" of other women.

However I think there has to come a point where a critical mass of women realise that they aren't particularly lucky to have none of these "toxic" men in their lives; that it's actually perfectly common. At this point they'll shift to assuming men are generally decent people, with toxic outliers rather than the other way around.

Indeed, the other day, I checked a recent video on the war in Ukraine from the far-from-radical DW, and I was encouraged to see that nearly all the top-rated comments were basically LWMA and MRA talking points about how Zelensky's emigration and conscription policies are misandric.

I am optimistic about the future, economically the west is going through a bit of a rough spot right now, but I'm pretty confident that we won't see a large-scale shift to fascism like some commenters seem dead set on. There doesn't seem to be a lot of main stream traction with men's issues right now but I've seen these kinds of things play out previously and I'm certain that it's only a matter of time before men's rights spills out of the internet and into real life at this point. I think given recent demographic trends the left will probably wake up to the fact that a lot of men don't support them, I'm in Canada and the gender gap between our left and right wing parties is pretty stark right now, but a lot of people on the left aren't getting it. My hope is that the left will drop the identity politics nonsense and focus more on labor issues.

Right now, no, none of that's going to happen. There is too little interest in pushing governments to acknowledge men have issues. Politicians are split into "left" and "right", and neither group is interested in helping men. The only way I see men getting any kind of representation is through polarisation, the left has feminists which hate men's rights, so the right will take up the cause by default.
Obviously, this is not how we want it to go. The question you need to ask yourself is, are you a left winger who supports mens rights, or are you a mens activist, who happens to support the left?

Unfortunately, this choice will split the left's interest in mens rights. So we'll have a broken LWMA trying to push back against left wing feminism. It doesn't bode well.

Probably not to any significant degree (outside of niche internet spaces like this one) within my lifetime.

What color do you want your dragon, or does it not matter because you're blind? We already know how they react to that exact stimulus, one or both of two options:

1) Triple down on continuing to offer nothing to men but vitriol and demands of self-flagellation and service. If you think feminists at large are suddenly going to have an introspective look at the shortcomings of their ideology and revise their beliefs in accordance with new information, you do not understand feminism. The single core belief underpinning the entire socio-cultural-politcal apparatus of feminism is patriarchy theory: The notion that any and all qualitative or quantitative differences in behavioral or status outcomes between men and women are the result of men oppressing women. Feminists are, by definition, completely unable to admit that men may have unique issues (and they definitely will not admit if a men's issue is found where women are beneficiaries of or contributors to it) or to admit other factors for differences between men and women exist besides unilateral oppression. Any feminist who makes those admissions is, by definition, no longer a feminist. Since you're expecting feminism as a whole to do this, you're basically expecting an entire political ideology to excise its foundational premise. This is basically like wondering if Christians will come around to ditching the whole "Jesus" thing.

2) Wonder "how do we 'get' men back on our side," and ultimately come up with no solutions. Feminism has zero consideration for men as human beings, only as political pawns whose service they feel automatically entitled to by virtue of existing. This is largely caused by feminism's explicit rejection of empiricism (look up Sandra Harding); Feminists are utterly unequipped to deal with a possibility of their ideology failing to materially deliver on its assertions and promises, and they view their belief system as ontologically correct merely because its core narrative says that it's emancipatory in pursuit of moral justice. Thus, any failure for the outsiders to understand this must either be solely a messaging issue, or that the unconvinced outsiders are too motivated by their unjustly held privilege to relinquish it.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Wouldn't the worst parts of something bad be the core?

There's already plenty of factual information out there to throw many feminist claims into question to varying degrees. Most people, even just apolitical normies, do not default to a doxastic state in which hurling facts at them is an effective strategy for changing minds. You have to care about facts first for contradictory facts to possibly sway you, and if someone believes that "the pretense of scientific objectivity is merely a male illusion to discredit feminine, intuitive, liberatory ways of knowing" (paraphrased, but that is genuinely what feminists believe about the scientific enterprise), they don't even believe in facts as a valid concept.

How long will it all take and why?

I don't think significant change on this front will occur in my lifetime. Feminism is already widely entrenched in world governments, corporations, media, political activism, and general culture, while we have, what, the Tin Man Blog on Instagram and The Prim Reaper on YouTube? I love and admire the work both of those two people do, but our cultural footprint is utterly miniscule and our policy footprint is effectively zero. Most people have never heard of us, and even those who have assume we're Jordan Peterson and/or Andrew Tate fans cosplaying as leftists.

In the meantime, will it be worthwhile to be active as a male advocate or will changes be dependent on totally different factors? Will our function be to come up with sound, attractive, undogmatic theories when at last the current ones are totally worn out? Or should you only look up soulmates in that meantime to share your worries, without hoping for real improvement?

I'm not holding my breath. I don't even have those "soulmates." At the same time, if everyone was as cynical and pessimistic as I am, nothing in the world would ever change. I respect people who try to make a difference in the world, even if it seems to me like they're just repeatedly bruising their foreheads.
