Men have lots of option too, I am sure a ugly beta can bag a single mother. Even with sex, most dudes can bang a obese fatty.

Problem is those options are not very appetizing. Same with women any woman who is in shape and does not have facial deformity can bag a beta. Does not mean she would want to.

So question remains how do you solve this. For men its radical self improvement. Get ripped, progress in career blah blah.

For women, unfortunately there is not much they can do, they are gonna get old, their value will get reduced and their options will worsen.

There will come a time when ugly beta (if he stays in somewhat in a good shape) and progress in his career will exceed value of his wife. Its bound to happen. (value is defined not by comparing man and woman but value of man and woman in respective dating market, so a woman can be a 45 year old smokeshow and if men her age does not commit to her, she is not high value, whereas a beta may be balding and slightly overweight, but if women his age or younger are willing to commit to him his value is not that low)

For that time, marriage was created. So that women are not left alone and if they are they get compensation for it. But thanks to feminism, that is changing. Women are opting for career than SAHM so the deterent of alimony is decreasing. So basically feminism has put wives on open dating market forever.

Now since TRP has entered the picture, more men will be waking up to the fact that along with their career if they just become ripped and learn bit of social skills they can drastically improve their value. Building a career is difficult part, teenagers can lift weights.

Women have ramped up the anti-aging product market and men are taking advantage of knowledge generated by women so yeah all men have to do it slowly increase their value while not losing too much

Otherwise it's probably better stated as women have far more options.

Women will always have men interested, no matter what. She might not like her options but she has them. Many men have none for long periods of life.

To use apps as one example because it's easily phrased;

When women say they don't have options it means they might get tens or hundreds of likes in an app but only one in ten are even worth looking at.

When men say it they mean they literally don't have anyone interested, at all.

Women have more options when it comes to casual sex, not relationships. With a 1:1 ratio and the vast majority of people pairing up with one person, it's very easy to see why. The most desirable men will pair up with the most desirable women, the second most desirable men will pair up with the second most desirable women, and so on and so forth.

If something like 80/20 is true and that women have tons of options is true, then men having "standards" like the ones you quoted above are true, but likely in a very trivial sense, sense, as well all know only a minority of men in the sexual marketplace can enforce any, let alone all, of such standards.

Consequently, the Wall is largely exaggerated, i.e. --- while men most desire women who are 20 when they are 50, the vast majority (even the high status ones) aren't pairing off with women that young. They're pairing off with women closer to their age. However, it is true that a 50 year old woman likely will not be able to snag that 50 year old man, because he's likely targeting some mid 30's woman or so.

So the lightbulb dims but not to the extent TRP portrays it.

no they still have a billion options they just don't get their pick of quality anymore. Women choose first, men choose to stick around.

What happens is that women get an over abundance of options. Think they are the shit. Never work on themselves. Then find themselves repeatedly single because no man with a 10 foot pole wants to have anything to do with her. They hit it and quit it, or they reject her.

Women never seem to understand this dynamic. That although they have choice - they are completely powerless later down the line. So they too must be good enough to hold on to. They don't get a dose of the red pill and instead get false validation from the people around them which hampers their ability to grow.
