Caring about inanimate objects as if they had feelings.

Plenty of hobbies and interests that get her out of the house.

Speaking multiple languages.

Doesn't try to impress me.

Being sort of plain looking.

Not really into social media.

when she has a dorky/quirky side to her that you get to know with time is one big one - also when she hyper-fixates on things, for some reason that gets me very interested.

One time, an old gf was giving me a back massage and she discovered I had a few knots in my back they were always there. So she named them “Gazpacho”, “Pistachio” and “You Bastard”.

Really warmed my heart to hear her declare “You Bastard!” while rubbing my back.

Generally what makes a woman attractive to me is if I can see myself in her. She would have similar interests as me, share same values as me, and is not afraid of being weird. Empathy is also an important trait that I find as a green flag

VISIBLY handling the majority her own emotions like an adult instead of outsourcing that burden to me.

We had a relationship crisis half a year ago that came within a hairs width of separation. I wrote a long-ass letter with a shit-ton of things that must have really, really hurt to read (not because I wanted to hurt her on purpose (which was clear to her as well) but because these issues needed to be voiced and some things just can't be sugarcoated).

She asked me why I felt we couldn't just talk about all of this - why a letter? I said it was all so complex and many parts of this puzzle are interwoven, if I had tried to talk to her about it I thought I couldn't articulate myself well enough to get my perspective and feelings and ideas across and then she would get emotional and derail the conversation into pointless dead ends. I wanted to get it all out and then we can talk face to face based on that.

She looked me in the eyes and said...

I'm sorry I've failed you... that I've shown signs and given you the impression that I couldn't handle having a talk like that in-person.

My jaw almost dropped. There was that spark again. Line up 100 women and see how many would be able to reply something similar to what I said just before. Made me realize again how near-irreplaceable she is. How much annoying woman-antics-shit would I have to wade through to find someone else of her caliber?

I had a girl come over to my house for dinner once, and she could tell from our conversations over the phone that I was terribly inexperienced and anxious.

Being the cool, badass, take charge chick that she was, she arrived at my house, walked confidently through my front door and kissed me passionately on the lips.

My whole brain just short circuited and I was much more relaxed from that moment on.

I really, really, really wish it had worked out with her.

Honestly, being overly optimistic and positive. I’m naturally negative, or at least I was raised that way. And being with someone constantly pounding the brighter side of life into my head, although it was a bit much at times, I can’t appreciate it enough. And it’s so extremely attractive.

Women who can shit on other women and grill weaklings. I like super confident women that step outside the mould of always trying to be politically correct. Slightly racist, sexist, ableist, homophobic etc..

"Why did you get those tattoos? They look terrible"

"You should probably just lose weight"

"Maybe its because you come off gay and have no muscularity"

A little bit of cruelty is hot to me. Of course it means they're going to be extra cruel towards you but I have armor belted skin and can take an insult and dish them out.
