I divorced years ago to an ex that has been extremely difficult to deal with. I'm talking child abuse allegations, constant insults, threats... you name it.

Today we had a meeting with a mediator to deal with some issues. I brought up the false allegations. The mediator saw the emails, she was not impressed by them. My ex started bawling and saying that it was all my fault because I was aggressive. I was very composed and unemotional during the meeting which made her very angry.

The mediator took notes and told her she expected her to stop sending aggressive emails. That drove her crazy.

The mediator also told her that since she had been working, she was going to have child support reduced retroactively. My ex was claiming that she was not working but she was making over $50k.

My ex gave hints that she will "negotiate" the amount because she was going through financial difficulties. I said "Oh I'm sorry to hear. We can definitely negotiate a payment plan of the full amount".

I know she will stir things up again but man it feels so good when someone abuses you for so long and finally someone sides with you.
