Genital mutilation is the biggest normalized assault on a helpless minor. It’s disfiguring and horrible. Another example of when something happens to males the world doesn’t care. You can’t bring this topic up without people saying “FGM” is worse. There are FGM variations! What is done in Egypt and Indonesia is literally the same as what happens in male cutting but people call it a sex crime…rightfully so but why is cutting males ok ? It doesn’t matter what is “worse”. I should have had agency over my own body instead I was mutilated. My sisters were free to live with their whole bodies. And they’re the oppressed gender? No …we are. Not even being allowed to keep your intact body! Human rights were not meant for us

So yea there’s a purpose for it. I have no idea why circumcision is even still a thing in modern society it’s outdated and serves no purpose other then aesthetic(?)

Let me clarify: I do not think there is a purpose to circumcising baby males. I honestly can't find any sound arguments to make this okay or reasonable. I think this article does a great job of breaking down the faux points people make about why it is allegedly okay.

The foreskin serves multiple purposes. It provides extra motion/gliding during sex and masturbation, it protects the glans/urethra from external contaminants, it provides additional sensation via nerve endings which aids during sex/masturbation, and it keeps the glans hydrated/healthy which also helps with sensation during sex.

The foreskin is not a mistake, and it is incredibly disgusting to even act like it is just because it serves a pre-existing bias against male genitalia and male sexuality. Male genital mutilation was mainly popularized by religions, as a way to diminish male sexuality and deter masturbation. It is an abhorrent practice that is done for abhorrent reasons. People who try to justify male genital mutilation under such blatantly false and ignorant reasoning are just as abhorrent.
