Almost all societies are based on protecting "women and children first" even if that means sacrificing men in the process. In the delusions of toxic feminism, then, when anything bad happens to a woman, it cannot be the woman's fault, but rather society's fault for failing to protect her by sacrificing enough men. This failure to sacrifice men, then, "harms" women, and is therefore misogyny.

My favorite is when they employ those mental gymnastics to twist homophobia directed at gay men (misandry) into a variant of misogyny. This process really dilutes the meaning of the term. Kind of like when you say a word too many times... Hopefully it will start to lose its power.

And incel if someone is involved. I think it is actually a strategy to silence the arguments that people cannot fight against, nevertheless people do not care so I think it just works. I've often said the worst part about being a white male, is I have to take responsibility for everything that doesn't go my way.

If I get fired, it's because I didnt' do my job very well, not sexism. If I get arrested, it's because I broke the law, it's racism. If I abuse my spouse, it's because I'm a bad person, not because "She made me do it".

"Misogyny" has morphed from an "intent" word into an "impact" word.

That way, a person's actions can be deemed morally evil even if evil intent is not present.

Yep, "Misogyny" is the typical retort when feminists either do not get their way or simply can't handle taking accountability for their actions. It's a form of playing victim, instead of addressing or owning up to the real issue. Yes, there IS real misogyny in this world, but the word itself has become so common in today's language that it's practically lost it's true meaning.

Take Courtney Love, for example: For decades, she's been rebuked by the public, while the people that DO like her often describe the criticism towards her as "misogyny" and believe that she'd be praised if she were a man, which is absolute bullshit. People don't hate her because she's a woman--people hate her because she's a manipulative, greedy, violent, narcissistic, pathological liar who may have very well been involved in several "mysterious" deaths. Kurt wouldn't be commended for all that, so why should she?? Double standard at it's finest.

People call bad things happening to men as misogyny. I’ve seen women, well feminist, say that it’s because of misogyny that male victims of rape are discredited for being seen as weak or the female perp being seen as weak. The female perp being see as weak as the weaker sex is to her benfit, and it not one born out of hatred.
