Has anyone met with a family plan that proposes that the kids live with her full time but you get visitation on a daily - or near daily - basis?

My STBXW is proposing this. She wants them to live with her but will give me access to them (at her house) as often as I want and seems to expect that this will be more or less daily.

I am preferring 50/50 between her place and mine. It seems an unrealistic expectation that I commute back and forth every day to see them. I also know that this means I will be roped into keeping her place clean, laundry there, cooking, etc. It feels like slavery. I feel like I am being set up as her domestic servant/maid.

And goddammit, after all that has transpired, I really, just don't want to have to fucking see her everyday! She has a habit of having her lawyer send me insipid and moronic letters every time I step off the reservation and do something different/disagreeable to her and her expectations, too. I can see that continuing as a means of control.

She justifies this in terms of best interest for the kids. Distance to school, daughter entering puberty (which means she has to be near mom), and our oldest son's reptiles, which admittedly, will be more difficult to care for from two locations (though he has a friend in a similar situation who seems to get on just fine - and most of them don't eat daily).

She is not asking for child support, though this is conditional on me accepting an imputed income of $75k (I make $44-50 right now) and a paying 50% of our scheduled expenses.

Has anyone tried this? Did it work? It does have the advantage of seeing them every day - or at least while she continues to be willing to have me in her home. I could see that being changed arbitrarily once she moves another man in, though.

What arguments did you use to push back?

I have to be honest, I am running out of steam, here. I don't know how much longer I can keep going with this, I really don't.
