When you stop texting for 4 days like that, you lose the momentum you had with her, her mood changes, and things go cold, so any promises to meet up don’t go anywhere.

"What are you up to today?" is not a good question to be asking a girl over text at this stage of talking. It's sucking energy rather than giving energy. She's either got to take time trying to explain her day or she's got to be boring and say "nothing much" - in which case she probably thought you would ask her to hang out, which she wasn't prepared to do.

I'm sorry about it man. It sucks, especially when you liked the girl and thought you had something going, but it unfortunately happens time and time again.

I'm personally fond of calling them out

"Hey I thought we were having good interactions, what's up?"

"I really don't appreciate you just deciding I'm not worth a reply, did something happen?"

"Hey, I've felt a disconnect recently, is there anything big going on in your life right now?"

Most of the time, the way they respond will give you a better answer than anything they say

If they immediately start spouting about their moms cancer or a recently dead pet, they're struggling with their own stuff and that's an opportunity to deepen the connection if you're interested, if not give her space and hit her up later.

If she gets mad or gives you excuses, I just unadd without another word. They know, you now know. No use in wasting the time.
