The average manosphere boy ( who already in his twenties) spends his life observing and drawing conclusions. He is obsessed with obscure data.

"Women like assholes. Maybe if I acted more like an asshole, women will like me,too ?!"

Women like this, women like that. I will adjust my behavior accordingly. I will adjust my entire personality accordingly.

I don't like to draw examples from fiction but here's a good one, if you have seen Game of Thrones.

Daenerys Targaryan, a queen, is frequently and wooed my men. Some of them she rejects. Others she will have sex with because they're hot men. But they're more boytoys to her. One boytoy in particular is called "Daario Naharis". He's what the manosphere dreams of. A guy with tons of experience with women. Playful, sexually competent, an athletic, good-looking bad boy. But she never falls in love with him.

Then there's a guy called Jon Snow. A man who's only been with one woman his life. A deeply honorable man with principles. A good man. He doesn't care about being an asshole. He just cares about upholding his values. He cares about his people. He tells high profile advisors who have ordered the killings of children to leave the country and never return unless they want to get executed. It doesn't matter to him whether this advisor could help him win a war. They killed a child which is not compatible with values. He's not the asshole guy. He's not even sexually experienced. And yet, Daenerys falls for him because she admires him. He's not fucking "dark triad" (lol). He knows who he is.
