I avoid answering the question, unless it's extremely important for her and she keeps pressing me on it. But I've never had a woman press me on it, so yeah, most don't know. I just say something like "I'm experienced, I used to be a bit of a player" and leave it up to her own interpretation. But my issue is that my lay count is high for most women's taste. If your lay count is low, then just be honest. No big deal. Women typically won't dislike you for having a low lay count. It means you're likely free of diseases.

I hit them with the “I’m a virgin, I hate sex” line. Have enough social confidence where they know it’s not true and they usually get a laugh out of it.

Sitting around 80 and don’t feel like that’s a very charming number. If they really insist - I tell them I stopped keeping track bc I felt like a scumbag for having a list and it made sex feel disingenuous.

If you talk about that you are only asking for judgment. If it’s low you will be judged negatively for that. If it’s high you will also be judged negatively for that.

Your lay count should be irrelevant, it should not be anyone’s business how many people you have slept with. So just say “i don’t count”.

If a girl asks about my lay count, I always answer with an extreme. For example, the "I'm a good catholic and I'm saving myself" or "you mean today, or in the past week?" Lol. Those lines usually take the pressure off and lead to funny convo.
