We've all been there im sure. Nerves happen to the best of us.

The only advice I can give, is try again, and again, and again. Until you learn to manage your nerves. It gets easier. Trust me.

Often times "i have a boyfriend" is a shit test. I never end the conversation there. A good number of those girls end up warming up to you and giving you their number or go on an instant date. No boyfriend to be found.

I used to date exclusively through day-game. Didn't like bars. I found that the most important part is being empathetic about it. Since getting approached by strangers on the street is weird and uncomfortable. A little "I know this is a bit weird but I just had to introduce myself" goes a long way towards showing you're not just some retard with no ability to read the situation

I had luck with my first approach after some time and despite stuttering and overall being beta as fuck she gave me her number and we went on 2 dates. I still managed to fuck it up by not kissing her, but. The point is i did an approach and had a good time during and later.

I struggle with approaching, i have a high approach anxiety, but i NEVER regret i did it, even if I get blown out. And it does get easier to overcome the initial fear. Keep doing it, keep allowing yourself to win. It's your life and you only have one. Live it with balls.

Consider this:

What can you take away from that interaction that was positive?
Can you see how you are now 1% better than you were before you approached? If you were to have another awkward set like this, can you see that you are a little better prepared?
Is there a way you can switch the spotlight from your emotions to the process of game itself?

What I'm getting at is, if you can focus on the process and what was positive, that is the mindset shift that will help you not only get better, but keep you in the game without quitting. Most guys quit because they have a negative reaction to an approach. It doesn't feel good as a beginner. But, if you can shift your mindset to what went right, what was positive, and feel awesome about it, its an inner game shift that will make your sets much better. Over time you will stop caring about the reactions and just test things out. Figure out what works.

Just remember, in your mind, make every approach fun and rewarding. Your just talking and sharing good vibes with someone. Practice feeling good after each approach. Its a mindset shift. Also, always observe what you could improve and try out new things. Don't just do the same thing over and over. Otherwise your results won't change.

Just wanna say kudos. That's a steep, scary hill and you went there. In time your courage pays off. I don't cold approach a lot, my history and experience is more from just providing people with nice interactions as a baseline, no romantic or hidden interests. Just normal, pleasant, well-mannered social situations for everyone. If I can't at least do that, I wouldn't have confidence I could also be flirty in a day situation. If she notices you might be trying something, her guard may instinctively go up. So you have to be able to prove you know how to back off. She's just another person on the street. Don't be the guy who must latch on to her like he will never see her again. Learn to trust yourself, let go of them, and move on. Alternatively if you always come off as just a decent person who would be a friend on the street, you've already got her trust. Depending on how fast you've noticed each other, she may not even have had time to process who or what you are, much less guess at what you're doing. This is where things get awkward if you didn't have anything to say in the first place. You have to train yourself to be a bit of a leader in the conversation, ask about something basic then be a good listener, repeat her words in your own words, etc. From there, she will start falling for you. Personally, it only takes catching one sufficiently curious look to give me the info I need. But time and place matters, and her level. If you're hitting on within your league, you should notice a smooth ride. She will like most of what you do or say. Outside, you will have to impress. Here, anything counts. You've gotta have smarts, intellect, style, strength. You don't know what she sees as valuable, so at this point you've had to self-develop.

Part of learning is bombing. Don't sweat it the least OP.. in 6 months try again. It takes 2 to tango and they might be just as spooked as you were

Remember not everyone wants to be approached. Interrupting the headphone eyes down avoiding men girl is instant creepiness. Some people out there are doing everything they can to avoid people interrupting their space and that should be respected.

Speaking from experience, being direct, I think, is never a truly good idea on day game. It's too out of place. I think day game is more friendly towards normal conversations. Just walk up to a girl and start a normal conversation about normal stuff. That way, you would be outside her "creep radar" since you're innocently conversing and not trying any moves.
