Well your approach was a little half-assed.

To be honest, I would stay away from "negging" during any sort of first interaction. The reason being is its not really "unique" anymore and women tend to sniff this out. Wonder how many other messages saying "you'd be cute if you were brunette" or something. Negging still works, but needs to be used differently.

Telling a woman what she is "like" generally doesn't work. If you're wrong at all, it ends immediately. Like in this, if she doesn't think she's shy, done. Convo over.

You're better off going for an initial approach that creates positive emotion and prompts her to smile.

You'll know more half assed texts when you see them, this was just an initial opener.

Try to text less, and meet up more. Eventually you will only have to text what's necessary or fun in order to meet up, where the magic happens.

Having full conversations over text can burn you, as people tend to read texts in their own tone of voice and may make interpretations that aren't there.

seems kinda needy. why would you potentially want a girl that throws tantrums. instead of asking her to give you something. frame the conversation so that you ask question that set up your intent for the convo. girls with one or dry responses usually are just bad communicators or you didn’t grab her attention enough.

First of all, that’s a horrible pick up line. A simple “hey how’s your day going” should be enough to get attention on online dating. Extra points for mentioning something in common with them that they mentioned in their bio/photos. Ex: “love your Star Wars shirt, have you seen the mandalorian?”

You haven’t even met this chick and it’s your first convo with her, I don’t think it’s a shit test lol, all she said was hi. Honestly just throw that whole shit test stuff out the window, i still don’t know what the fuck a shit test is and haven’t needed to hook up with a lot of chicks.

I like your opener. Shows you have a sense of humour..sometimes you get unlucky with who say these things to. Problem is there’s not enough people with personality nowadays so more often than not you’ll tend to get those kinds of responses.
