Just a word of advice I don’t like to spend a lot of time texting numbers I get from girls. This is my sequence

As soon as I get her number maybe 10 minutes after I text for example

Leave it at that. Next day I write a text like this

Are you always as much fun as you were last night 😉

Girls always respond well to this text no girl wants to say no she’s not fun.

Then I immediately go to setting up plans. Example. So when are you free for those cocktails we talked about.

That’s all that simple. Night game numbers are extremely flakey to put in perspective if I go out and get 10 numbers 5 will respond and out of those I’ll get 2 on a date. So you might just not be getting enough volume of numbers.

Texting is for women to gossip with each other and for meme's. It's inefficient because it's disembodied, she cannot feel you but if she likes you she will obviously want to talk and will reply to your unfunny jokes and unflowing conversation anyway

It's a tool for logistics not connecting. You're good at connecting, you say you're funny and can flirt, why do more?

Keep your texts short and sweet and use voice notes and calling to reconnect. She needs to feel your influence. Text, "hey you free on sat", when she replies, yes or no, send a voice note or call her when you're free. Be in her life, not on her phone. Simple, keep it real simple

You don’t need to buy any books all the info is out there free. Personally I have a long list in my phone of fun questions to ask when things get stale. If you google “dating conversation questions” or something like that you’ll find examples.

Texting makes it extremely difficult to convey the tone and infliction of what you are saying, which is usually what makes you funny, charming, witty, etc. with face to face interactions.

At first, keep your texts short, simple, direct, and confident. Once you have even a few face to face interactions, or even a phone call, this provides her an image in her head of how you are saying things when texting, and you can get a little more creative in your messages. But this doesn’t give you full reign to start writing thumb novels. The best text messages give her a smile and make her think “I wonder what he’s really thinking…”

The problem here is you don't understand and refuse to acknowledge that getting a number into a date is always low probability! You can't change that. So stop trying. Accept it

I get dates just fine going direct. Straight to the point. It filters out flakey girls and stops their games

Don’t make the mistake of thinking texting works the same as an in person interaction. Keep your texts short and simple, low investment, but at the same time keep them flirty so it doesn’t get boring. If you’re going for the date try to make it a sequence of texts rather than just throwing it out of nowhere, it’s way easier for her to agree to a “you’re not so bad, we should do something one of these days” than a “let’s go for drinks tomorrow at 8!!” It’s has to be a gradual build up. Once she agrees to the first thing the you can get more specific.

Do you give them playful nicknames when you interact with them in person? Give them one that becomes an "inside joke" between the both of you. What happens is if your interaction went well, she'll associate it with positive emotions about you.

Then all you have to do once you start texting her is "Hey playful nickname"

No need for introductions. She'll remember the guy who gave her the nickname and then associate him with positive emotions and feelings. Your conversation should flow freely then.

When you give her a nickname, relate it to something that stands out on her. Be creative, the nickname doesn't have to be cool. Just unique

With the way the world is going if you find that you just can’t get a grip on text at all using apps like Instagram and dating apps that allow you to use voice messages will enhance your message game.

I totally get your point of wanting to improve. Too much that advice is just use texting purely for organization. I have seen countless times guys that can message back and forth with girls not sticking to the plan of only using texting to organize dates and it works so much better for them.

Here’s so of my tips I use when I mix up a bit of connection building but still organizing dates/plans

Creating inside jokes - usually when I talk with the girl I like to do call back humor. Something interesting she said or is said that made her laugh. Exaggerating or enhancing it. Memes/videos/tiktoks that relate to what it was you have the joke about works wonders.

Playful banter: it’s really an Aussie and British thing but banter is a back and forth kinda frame battle that you can have over text message. E.g: U: you look like the type of girl that would be terrible at Mario kart! Her: oh come off it, I’d beat you with one eye closed U: I’d even give you a 15 second head start ;) Her: right game on next time, best out of 3 winner takes all. U: loser has to do something embarrassing!

Last is not always leaving hours between texts. If she has her phone in her hand texting you and your texting her and she texts you, keep the rhythm going. Too many times people say to leave it but I like to focus on getting into the same rhythms as the other person and having them copy my rhythms.
