I 25M and don't know anyone who has met their significant other in either of these places. It's not really my scene, although maybe when I think of bars, I'm thinking of the wrong thing? Are we talking about nasty dive bars or elegant jazz bars? Applebees and Red Robin?

And then there are clubs. Again, unless it's the comedy club, with all of that music blasting and mediocre dancing, how are today's clubs comparable to the ones 30-40 years ago? Why would I want to go to a place where all of the women are just twerking?

I really hate how once I graduated from college and started working at this engineering company, that I've been pushed firmly into the world of online dating because my circle of friends is spread out across the US and practically nonexistent here at home.
