It's not shameful, but it is likely to be misinterpreted. Talking about game with guys with no game, makes them resentful of you, and of women.

I've found it's honestly fine, given a good approach to it. If you describe it passionately and make it seem mysterious ("There is a fine... art to women.") I've found it actually makes for a quite viable topic conversation and makes you seem really cool. Contrarily, if you blather vapidly without making eye contact about something on reddit, it will be an awkward point of conversation.

My good friends know about it, they aren't really into it as much as I am, but they do accept it as valid and know some of the theory. I don't talk about it openly because most guys are white knights who would never understand.

Depends on the type of friends you have. If they're real jokesters you could tell them and they'd likely bust on you a bit especially if they don't know all that much about the community.

I didn't tell my friends specifically oh i got on seddit to get pick up information but when we're out and about I would joke around and say time for me to make a move or something like that

Really depends on the type of guys.

I find the only guys who will have a problem with it are guys that are insecure with women and not actively working on improving. And I find this only comes in two main flavors.

White knights and frat type dudes.

The first kind react badly to it, because they idealise women and believe all the classic bullshit. They don't want to believe that you can and should take the initiative with women.

And the second kind don't like it because they're threatened by the competition. They want to believe that they're hot shit with women for reasons like money, status and looks or some other shit. They don't want to believe that getting women isn't dependent on what they already have going for them, which is almost always something beyond their control.

So to cap it up. The only guys that react badly are the ones who think not trying works, and the other because they want to believe that their crutch of choice works.

In a way I look at as, the only people who look down on entrepreneurs are the very rich and the very poor, because they want to believe their place in life isn't something that can change.

I've met guys who were into seduction and talked about it a bit. I even had a girl ask me if I'd read The Game. It's only weird if you make it weird.

I don't talk about it at all with people, unless they ask me or I find out they're into it, and if they don't want to talk then fuck them, thats their deal. LIke throwaway said, its always misinterpreted and people act like your tripping and they start giving you BS advice like "just be yourself" when yourself is the socially anxious person looking for answers. Then you look at them and you see that they've settled.
