As a girl, I can think of a myriad of different ways I could shoot down a guy, but if I was going to specifically use that line, maybe it's just me, but it would be an honest and firm assessment. I wouldn't want to be forced to respond with "No, I don't like bad boys, and regardless of what you are, you're still not my type."

This can be said in a number of ways in different tones of voice etc. If it's pissy/annoyed then just move on, fuck the moody bitch. If it's playful then you can say whatever you want. At the end of the day it's just a silly thing to say. I would not reply with anything meaningful. "Why, do you bite? (smirk)" will do.

Also, you can't really tell people what to say. It just never works like that. They need to learn how to think on the fly.
