You can be ace looking average, but having a good sense of style is never a negative and is relatively easy to improve. Why not give yourself every advantage you can get?

Fashion helps anyone's game by incredibly amounts.

Here's the thing that many people miss out on, though: fashion is entirely dependent on your inner game. Just as everyone has their own game, everyone has their own fashion. To use a poorly-supported example, if you feel like a badass person, you're more likely to wear jeans. Likewise, if you feel more introverted, you might pick from clothes that don't bring you to be the center of attention.
This comes into play when you understand what dressing well conveys, as well. Different clothes convey different messages and if you're socially connected, many of these messages will come naturally for you.

Lastly, if you force yourself to wear clothes that don't fit your nature or that you just don't feel right in, you'll be incongruent with yourself and come off less confidently. Fashion is important but confidence tops what you wear anytime. Fashion and confidence will make ladies cream.

Look man, I get the whole with solid game it doesn't matter sentiment, but why force yourself into an uphill battle? Just dress well and I think you'll realize how silly this question is.

Theoretically, it's possible to win 100m sprint olympic gold by doing cartwheels, but it's a whole lot easier to just run.

Style is very important. If you're not regularly getting complimented on your look, you need to improve it.

The trick is to NOT BLEND IN. Don't wear fuzzy fucking hats, but don't look like everyone else either. Be distinctive and find something that works for you, specialize. If you look like every other dude you'll get treated like every other dude.

If you have solid game, clothing won't matter all that much. Look at the guys from simplepickup. Ya, they can look fly, but in most of their videos, they dress very casual, nothing out of the ordinary. The don't-give-a-fuck attitude is more appealing than the clothing. The clothes are only going to add that extra boost of credibility and value, imo. So ya, dress good, but work on your inner game above all.

Don't do this. It's disingenuous. Your focus should be to make your personality attractive, if you create a persona to be confident and attractive you will get depressed when people start connecting with that persona and not you. Your aim should be to develop your own personality.

As for fashion, fashion is being congruent with the styles of the moment, this is not important. What is far more important is the fit of your clothes, the quality of your clothes, and showing that you understand certain rules of dressing. Think like how girls dress. What do you care about the brand of her shirt, or how tight it is? Fit is king. Make sure your clothes are fitted.

Fashion doesn't matter one way or the other per say, but it can open up new doors for you and let you get away with shit you might not have gotten away with otherwise. It makes hey I'm all smooth and shit, and we just made out before I said two words to you look more congruent. Besides that it just adds swagger points.

Dress yourself in confidence. It won't matter what you're wearing. Although nice looking clothes help, they are not essential for gaming.

But it does feel good to be the best dressed person in a room sometimes.

I don't know much about fashion, but I do get a lot of attention with a suit, no tie and nice shoes. Find a look you're comfortable with that fits you well, and pull it off as best you can. If you look and act confident and relaxed, it'll all work out.

It matters as much as you want it to. If yr looking for snls, dress the part. If yr trying to find "the one," who cares what you look like. Play on.

in my experience i'm wearing really fashionable clothes i have a lot more swagger and confidence so it defiantly helps
