I'm assuming you mean she is saying this to you, you could just respond with "Yeah,... you look like (you would be) a handful." Then move on to another topic in the conversation or move on to another girl. If she asks what you mean by that, you could probably just keep with a "Oh you know what I mean." kind of attitude. Just classic agree and amplify.

This has never happened to me. This would throw me for a loop. But as a creative exercise I will give it a couple goes. But first off, any shit test answer is agree and amplify. Then you move on as if it didn't happen. You do not dwell on the test. Sometimes people forget that part. If she plays along and you keep going bigger and bigger with the joke, eventually there is no where to go. You need to transition like it's no big deal. (Also read the side bar.)

So here are some hopefully whimsical ideas, to this seemingly impossible question.

If you can memorize movies, go Peter VencKmen on her:

"Wait, you think I enjoy giving up my evenings to spend time with clients? I'm making an exception because I respect you as an artist and as a dresser."

If she gets it awesome, if she doesn't, "What! You've never seen Ghostbusters?" Continuing the quotes, "I'm interested in her as a client! And because she sleeps above the bed, six feet above the bed!" Playfully incredulous, "Are there any Bill Murray movies you like?" Dude is a dream boat.

Yes, I like ___. Turns into conversation. No becomes you going crazy with BM anecdotes. That guy is fucking amazing.

You know me so well! And we have only just met. Do me more do me more! Then throw out your palm and try to get her to read it. If you like that sort of gag you can do it back to her. Or exit on "Well, It's a good thing I'm not superstitious." And move into if she's into astrology. That disqualifies her for me. But if she's into it, and you don't give a shit, it opens a lot of playful banter.

I get super self righteous about that stuff though.

I kind of wish we got more of these questions. I know routines are out, but... they seem like so much fun to create. And wit has a lot to do with creating the off the cuff remarks while on the cuff.

To everyone saying, "Move on", this is a prime example of a shit test. Shit tests are healthy, normal parts of attraction. I'd be more surprised if there were no shit tests. Learn to pass the shit test and move forward, not move on.

Remember the bard: "The course of true love never did run smooth." Don't expect every interaction to be a smooth, perfect seduction of mutual ego masturbation.

EDIT: Also, OP, if you haven't even run across this shit test, why are you trying to find responses to it? There must be a billion things you could focus on, rather than low percentage problems like a hypothetical shit test.

If I tell someone they're not my type, I'm either giving them a shit-test to see what they'll do, or actually trying to warn them off.

IE...I told the last guy I was dating that he wasn't my type because he was afraid of hurting me, so he wouldn't spank me. Who doesn't like spanking?

I hoped he'd man up, put me over his knee, and spank me. But he didn't. So he really wasn't my type.

I know that's rather specific, but that's the only time I've ever had to tell a guy he wasn't my type.
