Well I am very new to this, I have a bad case of social anxiety that I need to overcome, so just the fact that I finished the approach is a win in itself. Anyways, I don't normally approach a girl I find attractive but I have been reading a lot of seddit lately and figured it was time to make a change in my life. I saw this girl in the dining hall of my schools dorm wearing a tshirt of a band I also like, and seeing that as good of an opportunity as any I just headed her way. I tapped her on the shoulder to get her attention (first mistake, I know I shouldnt approach from behind), but I complimented her shirt and managed to try and extend the conversation by asking if she knew of any places nearby to see concerts. After giving me a couple suggestions I exchanged names with her and we both went off on our ways. Of course the entire time I was shaking and probably stuttering like a blubbering idiot... but one step at a time right? This was extremely hard for me, I've got a lot of inner game to work on i guess.
