Just make sure you pronounce it right. I notice someone who takes the time to learn the correct pronunciation of my name. It makes a huge difference

I personally HATE when my boyfriend calls me by my name. We have nicknames for each other and if one calls the other by the name is because something is very wrong. And to other people, well, there is no effect at all when some random person says my name.
