I've had instances where female friends have been attracted to me, and I've had opportunities to hook up with them. But often, I would turn down those chances because I was comfortable with my friendship with them and my group of friends, and I didn't want anything to change (ie I value their friendship over a hookup with them).

But recently, I hooked up with this girl who I was friends with, and although we didn't hook up again, we seemed a lot closer and it actually seemed to strengthen our friendship.

So what do you guys think? Would hooking up with someone strengthen a friendship, especially if it's a one time thing?
