Do you actually want to improve? Improvement is not going to be easy you need to push your ego out of the way and reflect with an unbiased opinion on your progress/results. There is going to be sweat, tears and probably depression but you need to go through those emotions to get better.

There is no such thing as a dumb luck, timing yes but luck no.

This is actually an interesting thread because if you are relying on dumb luck you wouldn't be outcome dependant. You would be outcome independent which is what most people strive to be. Providing you are relying on dumb luck.

As much as you want to think you're just not cut out for this, this is a token post that's always talked about:

Some guy giving up when he's gotten no results, maybe you weren't cut out for this, maybe your motivation is too low
If you want to procreate e.g. get laid as we call it, you need to be worth fucking to girls; right now that isn't the case

You think any great successes came with no failure, no, some people stack rejection for years on end until they finally find a process that works. Instead of bitching, why don't you tell us what your interactions look like, why girls aren't going home with you, and why you aren't fucking?

I probably got made fun of and laughed at for 10 years before I became someone cool, relatable, and attractive to the majority of people.

The problem is you, your thoughts create your world, if your thoughts are poison (they clearly are for you) your world will be, also.

I've heard people pull off crazy shit in NYC because the amount of girls is just unlimited. And it seems like the girls there are more dtf too. I can definitely see a lot of pressure in trying to get laid there though

Do you have any friends? Two years? If I was in NYC I'd offer to take you out this weekend or even tonight. If you have been consistently approaching, your probably just need to help you a little bit to figure out what you are doing wrong. Hard to tell from a forum. But 2 years and 1 date? A lot of people disagree w/me, but I think the main problem you are having is simply that Day Game is not that easy a way to meet women. Try online dating or going out at night in NYC and you'll get laid more than you will anywhere else.

Also, learning pick up from youtube videos is like learning how to have sex from porn.

Consider a personal coach. There is a lot you can do to improve, but it has to do with the specifics of your situation and how you approach women, what you do right and wrong and what you personally can do better. A personal coach can watch what you are doing and give you tailored advice. Just make sure you get the right person because many of the guys are just out for the money and aren't necessarily that good at this.

Also, getting better at pickup and game is not just about approaching. I've watched beginners do lots and lots of approaches, but all they are doing is approaching, not paying attention to what they are doing right or wrong and what they can do to improve the quality of their interaction with the women they are approaching. At the end of the night they's approached a few women but mostly they've just sat at the edge of the bar moping with each other and discussing how hot the women are and what they could've and should've and would've done. You need to approach, but each time you approach you need to try something else that you learned or saw here on the board, that you heard from someone or on a video. After the approach you should stop for a minute and think what did or didn't work, why, and what you can do differently next time, and then go out and try it again.
