Her happiness is not your responsibility. Your happiness is not her responsibility. The only person responsible for someone's happiness is themselves.

Also, you will see a lot of links about building comfort and attraction, but none about building happiness. Going out of your way to make a girl 'happy' can actually decrease her comfort and attraction in you. This happens when you submit your life to her whim, and it will depress your value by a shitload.

You are not boring. Do what you want to do, and let her come along for the adventure.

If you think you're losing her, you need to boost comfort and attraction. If you try and boost her happiness, you will make her uncomfortable and yourself unattractive.

Give me some back story about what you think is going on between you two. Shubrook has some good advice but I would go off of it a bit and say that even though a persons happiness is their own responsibility, you need to remember to do some of that for them as well. If you're asking to go do things and she's constantly saying no but you do whatever she asks then you're doing everything wrong. If you want to go on a trip to see family in another state or something, invite her but make it your goal to do it even if she doesn't want to go, that sort of idea.

If you want a good person to be in love with you then you need to take care of yourself. Have goals set out for you and if that person wants to be a part of it then trust me, they'll find a way. You can't make your life revolve around the other persons plans, you need your own. Plan to go to the beach with some friends and tell her you'd like if she came too, or to the bar, or whatever you enjoy doing. If she wants to do something you need to be completely honest with both her and yourself. If you don't like what she wants to do, say it. If you don't want to go with her somewhere, say it. You can make compromises but you can't allow yourself to be whipped.

I think also a dramatic increase in attention from her. She has to make sure you're committed. If she doesn't think she has your commitment, she'll be unhappy and could look for the attention elsewhere.

Any move to transition the relationship backwards (serious to open) is HUGE indicator that something is wrong. Or forward (to serious or engaged or marries) and you are resisting it.
