She can be texting you while watching a movie. A text is a pretty low investment. And most girls have their phones on them 24-7. Texting can simply be a way to pass time, like browsing reddit is. You hardly call it a commitment or an investment.

The content and the follow up is what counts, and you have zero follow up with this girl.

While there are exceptions the majority of the time you should just move on to someone more receptive. Example: I once went out a few times with a girl that was raised in a religious conservative background who never been on a date in her life. Hence she was super nervous and wanted to get more information about me. She even spoke to mutual friends to make sure I wasn't a creep. If you choose to confront her about it I usually confront them by saying something like 'Hey I'm not looking for a text buddy. I'm looking for someone to hang out with in real life' If she doesn't comply, I move on.
