The more I read into seduction material (from all over, including this subreddit), the more I realize I've sort of known about this all along but have never really seen it so methodically laid out.

I absolutely know that I need to assert dominance. Be confident. Take up space. Look out for my happiness. Push my ego aside (not to be confused with self-esteem, just the part of me that's vulnerable to my actions, the crippling "what are they thinking about me?" mentality). Speak louder. Be happy with myself. Be outcome dependent.

I GET IT. I completely get it. And I agree.

Nonetheless, I still find myself caring about how I'm behaving when I'm out meeting girls. "Am I standing straight? Should I tell this joke? Does she even like me?"

I know I should push these thoughts aside. They're helping no one. I don't want them. I know they're not letting me be the best version of myself.

And yet, it is next to impossible for me to apply the theory into practice.

Tell me—and tell me truly—have any of you been in this sort of situation where you absolutely get and agree with what you need to change about yourself (and the "agreeing" with the mentality is important since it means you know why it'll work and you won't just be following blind guidelines that you have no idea about) and yet, can't seem to apply them into practice?

Has anyone felt like "oh man, I get it and I wish I could do all of these things differently but it just won't work with me?"

Has anyone felt hopeless and found the light?
