Dancing is one my strongest points. It's because I forget everything and I don't care about what other people think when I dance.

The first thing you need to do is... dance. They need to see that you can have fun by yourself. I've been called a dancer a lot of times so you need to be lucky to have some "natural talent" for it. But having fun is the most important thing.

From there it is easy. Whenever you get eye contact, just hold it while keep on dancing. Do a funny move towards her. Check out some old Usher/Chris Brown (just some 90s, early 00s R&B) clips where he tries to win the woman. Not sure how to explain.

At this point they laugh and all I have to do is reach out for their hand. I don't even start grinding, they always start it. I've danced salsa so I try to do some turns. This always impresses them (SALSA LESSONS/DANCING IS GREAT BTW).

Most of the times I just want them to do a turn and they stop at 180 degrees and end up grinding me. That's their own choice and sometimes I even hate that (for real), because I want to do a nice turn.

A lot of times they also come to me and if there is a group of women, I tend to grab 2 of them at once. You can learn that when you take salsa lessons.

Last weekend I had to take pics at a club (yeah the camera probably helps -> status) and I danced with a lot of women. I just jumped from one to another one and got "where is your girlfriend?" 3 times that night. I really don't care about how beautiful they are anymore. Sometimes I get respect from other men also. That's pretty cool.

So, just dance and have fun but don't be too awkward with your dancing moves of course. I can't remember the last time I got rejected. It never happens. And no, I'm not the best looking dude out there.

Your attitude shouldn't be, "which girl do I want to grind with?" It should be, "damn these women grinding on me! All I wanted to do was DANCE!!!" Serious though...if you think a girl is attractive, the best way to get her attention...is to attract it. By dancing your face off.

We usually just find a good spot on the dance floor around a few different groups of girls. If a girl wants to dance, she will glance over at you periodically (or just come up to you!).

In all seriousness, I usually just order a good drink at the bar, and hang around there until I make eye contact. Once I see a girl who is interested, I ask them to go to the floor. After that, well... Go with the rhythm. :)

Honestly, a lot of club music is really hard to find a beat to (for me). If there is a song that you can easily find the groove to, go to the dance floor and start swinging the hips (women are attracted to a wide gate, but not to wide) play with your gestures. Lets say a really good funk song like rick james give it to me baby starts playing. Easy groove, don't need to grind. shimmy the shoulders, express like your feeling the music, bite your lips once in a while ( a lot of chicks love that) and laugh a little when you make eye contact with a woman. If you got their attention, dance a little walk over there, ask if they would like to dance. If a song comes up that isn't your style and you wouldn't even dance to it if you were alone, than ask her if she wants to join you smoking hookah or something else.

A lot of music these days for me feel like they are only for women to dance to. It's really hard for guys to find the beat. Hotline bling for example is a good track, you can shimmy to the beat, bump hips to it, do a two step, do your mmms in between and do some of drakes moves. It just has that good beat for a guys type of dancing that doesn't involve grinding.

I remember in my high school dance when they put on top hits. I was the first one to grind on my gf then everyone followed suite. I actually hated it so badly. I loved it when they put cumbia hits (I'm from SoCal)where I could actually bust out some moves with her (I'm a pretty good cumbia dancer). The thing is, DJ's put shit dancing music most of the time. It sucks.

Just dance in a girls general viscinity. Have a positive attitude and be having fun, don't "appear" to be having fun, actually enjoy being out. Girls will move towards you and get closer to you. If you are making the first move NEVER EVER approach from behind! Always approach from the front or side. Be in her view. Approaching from behind is the easiest way to get shut down immediately.

One thing to add... Smile!

So many dudes think too much about dancing so much that they forget this. A dancer who isn't smiling looks strange and unapproachable.

On a dance floor men and women both are often self conscious of what they look like, but have said "fuck it" and gone to shake it anyway. That smile says "I'm just pleased to be here shaking it, and I don't care how you are shaking it either"

Cuz after all, how else are you going to convey this? Shout in her ear?

Go dance for yourself, not the women. I rarely have more fun than when I go to a rock club and let loose. No one cares, and you can just be yourself. If you show yourself open to the women around you, they will notice, then just smile and approach. Don't force things like grinding, women choose when they want that and you won't say no anyways.

Of all the twerk fests and house parties I have been to while living in the DMV, all you do is walk up from behind and grab their waist. Even at a hip hop club like Ibiza in DC or whatever. I was just at Midtown this past weekend, same deal. Just don't be scared when you do it. Demographics probably play a role in all of this though. But if a twerking song is playing, and she's twerking on the dance floor, that's when I make a move.

As a girl, who doesnt really enjoy the nitty gritty junk grind with strangers, I'd suggest looking into latin style dancing. You can learn so much, and it's so much more fun and intimate!
