How do you feel about women who go out clubbing with her friends while in a relationship?

If she is a quality gal who focuses primarily on spending her free time and energy on you, but every so often wants to go out with some gals of character to have dinner and maybe hit a dance floor for a bit, that is something that can be no big deal to most guys.

If she (1) has trashy friends who are of low character that she goes with, (2) is making this anything more than a once in a while thing (we are talking 5-6 months in between such outings), or (3) is coming home bombed, (4) comes back well after midnight, (5) has little to say about the specifics of the evening (who, what, where, when), then I would assume she is hiding from me the real purpose of the outings.

I recently hooked up with an engaged women who was clubbing on "girl's night." I didn't know the girl at all, but my buddy's sister knew her. We looked at her Facebook the next day and, surprise surprise, her status said something along the lines of "Had so much fun at girl's night." Her fiance even commented on it telling her he was happy she had fun without him. I still feel so bad for that guy. Doesn't have a clue what he's getting himself into

Girl's night is just an excuse for chicks to go out and do whatever they want without feeling guilty about it. After all, they were just having fun with the girls...right?

Clubs are breeding grounds for "incidents".

i.e. by "incident" I mean you'll be like "yeah sure babe, enjoy your night out, have fun"

then she stumbles in at 6AM all in a fit of emotion because "something happened". Usually the "something" that "happened" is that after being pestered by a dozen horny guys all night and drinking excessively, she gave in, let her guard down or whatever and ended up sucking off some guy/having sex in the bathroom/alley or going home with some dude, engaged in some obscene act, then got kicked out of his place so she took a cab home and there she is. Girls night out! Wooo!

My high school gf did this quite often and it always pissed me off. She would always be super nice up to the text message of something like this "Hey....so and so wants to go to this club tonight, just girls." I would always respond with something like, why do you want to go to a club?

"You know, just to dance with the girls." And she would always invite me to go with her but I told her I'm not going to a club. She always felt guilt tripped out of it when all I said is I'm not going. I never told her she couldn't go. I don't believe for a minute that girls go to a club just to dance with each other, there has to be something in it for them like the attention or constant flow of guys trying to pick them up so they still feel wanted.

Depends on many things like the girl, the relationship, her friends, the situation, the frequency of these events etc.

Generally speaking though I think it is pretty unacceptable for a serious girlfriend to go clubbing without me.

Don't be fooled or shamed by the people saying: "They just want to dance with their friends". We all know what clubs are like and why people go.

Here's my devil's advocate view: going to clubs sucks. The music is loud, the people are douchey, everything is expensive, etc... If you like to dance, you can dance at home or in less douchey environments. So the upshot is this:

90% of the appeal of clubbing for women is getting attention and validation from guys. Period. I go clubbing a lot and I see these women everywhere. They are flakey, emotionally insecure, and generally messed up in the head. They usually have drug problems and other problems with anxiety/depression. And of course they are incapable of having healthy relationships with men because otherwise they wouldn't be clamoring for attention at the club.

Now I'm not saying that every woman that goes to a club is fucked up like this. Sometimes girls want to "go out" and our society doesn't give a lot of fun options, so they go to the club. It could be a special occasion or something. But if your girlfriend makes clubbing a regular thing, especially without you, I would be worried.

What about not dating girls with trashy friends? I could give a fuck less if a plate of mine is going out to have men rub their dicks on her ass all night. Thats why she is a plate, she has shit friends and shes not really a quality mate.

Now if you are in a serious relationship, im hoping you already screened her friends.

Some people really like club culture. Most of them are all looking to get fucked, or at least approached. It all comes down to who your girlfriend is. If you have done things properly, she is either just a plate, so who cares what she does. Or she is a quality human being who wouldnt shit on your relationship for one drunken evening filled with horrendous decisions.

Careful. This should read "What do you think ...". Feelings are what feminism runs on. TRP is based on rock solid evidence, not feelings.

Back on topic, if one of your girls routinely goes out clubbing, she should be no more than a plate. Why? Because she's seeking male attention/validation and clearly is not satisfied with you. Double negative points if she usually comes back wasted.

Ultimately, its a judgement call on your part. Does she willing provide details about her outing? Does she seem nervous when questioned? Is her social group quality women or sorority sluts?

Scenario: A gf requests to go on a GNO at a club/bar

Result: INSTANT downgrade. Plate spinning ensues, my time/money investment in her is cut.

Reasoning: Experience + decent 'bun in the oven' type of girls will never want to spend a night out at the clubs. She would rather spend the time with yourself. Girls with class have GNO's where they meet at restaurant and chit chat in my opinion...

I have no problem with my wife spending time with her friends, for example my wife and 3 of her best friends train horses, so if they want to go on a trail ride together great, going out to a bar or clubbing, no freaking way is she allowed to do that crap.

Personally, I don't put up with it. Clubs are a meat market. It's for random hookups. You don't go to the grocery store unless you're looking to eat, right? Well you don't go to the club unless you're looking for sex. I don't buy any of the excuses.

Even if she is a quality girl, there's no way all her "girls" will be quality, and it only takes one bad one to ruin the bunch.
