I never drink at the club. In fact the only time I drink these days is with a woman in a private romantic setting, and only 1 or 2, not to get rip roaring drunk.

I'd say yea it's creepy, although i know almost every guy on this sub would say otherwise, and many probably do it themselves. I just think it's weird for a sober guy to go where girls are at their drunkest to be on the prowl. Are people there gonna think you're creepy? probably not most are too drunk to give a shit about what you're doing. But if your not there to dance and just to find drunk women to boost your odds of scoring that's creepy. That said going to a bar is fine. Not drinking is your prerogative, and in a conversation orientated environment it's not really an issue if they have had a few. I know i will get downvoted to shit here, butif you were to post this in another sub with a greater cross section of society, people would agree that going to a club sober to pick up drunk chicks is creepy. You can frame it however makes you comfortable, but that's essentially what's you would be doing. That said, if you want to try it as a 1 off experiment to try broaden your comfort zone, at least then you are doing it for self improvement.

I don't drink....

Unless you're abstaining from alcohol for some personal reason, there's also no reason that you can't nurse a drink for a long ass time. I do it all the time. No one is walking around timing how long you had a specific drink before you finish it.

__3: Don't go there just because of the girls__

and everyone always tells me bars and clubs are where you go to get dates, hook up, etc.

No. They are where you go to find a very specific kind of person in a specific kind of situation.

And you should go there because simply going to the place seems fun to you. If the idea of going to a particular bar or club isn't something you'd consider fun if there were no girls there, if girls are the only reason you'd go, then you ought to find a different place to go.

What's creepy is when you aren't part of what's going on. People go to the club to drink and dance to loud music. If you aren't involved in one of those things, then you're going to stand out in a bad way.

It doesn't matter if you came with people or if you're drunk. But you need to be partaking in the fun of the place.

If you don't like dancing, then don't. go. to. clubs.

If you don't like drinking, playing pool, darts, trivia night, or whatever, then don't. go. to. bars.

Dude every guy in the club is creepy - it's a club. Clubs are automatic sausage fests and girls are on the defensive for you. If anything you'll be less creepy sober though. I think you'll be more offputting if you're drunk than just normal.

I always go..and never drink and always hookup with cuties. I like to go to clubs where their is a well known dj or singer there.Its alot more fun and easy to dance with girls and hookup..

This question comes up at least once every month. The answer is no. You will be incredibly anxious sober though, unless you can really tune it out (if you can do that, awesome).

What you DO need to do: dress and groom well, or at least to the standards of the club. Don't expect the Bouncers to let you in if you're not.
