Saw a cute girl shopping in the grocery store today, but I was struggling to come up with a way to approach. Then I noticed a bottle of "date syrup" on the shelf...figured it was too good to pass up. Grabbed the syrup and walked up to her, "excuse me, could I ask you something?" "Sure" "I just want to see if this stuff works... holds out the bottle.... are you free later?"

She laughed and said she had a boyfriend but she thought my line was clever.

So a swing and a miss but I came away feeling like it was solid execution on my part even if I had bad luck with the result. Keep grinding guys.
