Really? 'Cause I see a lot of single hot girls. Like, girls who are downright desperate in their private moments.

I do agree that girls who stand out tend to just dress better. One of the first girls I went on a date with was a cute but kind of awkward Latvian exchange student. Normally, she was pretty but in the "dime a dozen" kind of way. Then came time for the date and whoa, mama...she really wanted to impress me and it showed.

Your friend is a coward or just doesn't have a lot of game. Know that most guy friends seem to be that way, which is why I prefer to go out solo, or to screen some guys before going out to the clubs with them.

Read the sidebar link about "learning pickup", its solid advice. Basically, to approach the so called "hot women", you do need warm up by talking to others. I didn't really believe it at first, but just being social makes you more confident and you will be able to talk to the more attractive women much more easily.

I know the OP so well. I went to school with a not so average girl in 2007 and one day, she had a makeover and wore tight khaki pants and changed everything. I even seen other dudes throw compliments. What made it sexier, she was usually outspoken, then became quiet and shy once she became hot. She even came to the inner part of the yard during lunch where most, us dudes chilled where I don't recall her hanging out before hand. She just stood quiet beside another dude she knew and I knew. Man, was she beautiful all along and I wish I took her signals. I thought she was slim but was actually slim and trimmed, thicker than I realized.

I noticed another girl with a pretty nice figure did this in 08 for me. Face was decent but those legs, man. I'm in regret every day.

Uh no. The thing that makes them have a boyfriend is that they are hot. Recently at work (I work at a big company), we had a party at the end of the workday and I started looking around for attractive, single girls to talk to. The pattern was pretty much: Oh, there's a beautiful girl - oh, she's got a wedding ring on. There's another beautiful girl - oh, she's got a wedding ring on. There's an unattractive girl - I'm going to check if she's got a wedding ring because it seems like every woman at this company has got one on - nope, no wedding ring. I was noticing their attractiveness before I saw evidence that they were married. It's pretty obvious that pretty girls get snatched up the fastest, and it's obvious why pretty girls get snatched up the fastest by men. These girls were at work were not dressing up for their husband/boyfriend; their husband/boyfriend were not there.

This is just a dumb mindset to have. It's born out of scarcity and perpetuated by a very common rationalization for why you aren't getting the "hot" girls.

"Why don't I get the hot girls?"

Assumption A. You need to work on your social skills and learn how to be more attractive through personal introspection, corrective action and a long term commitment to improving your results.

Assumption B. All the hot girls are taken

B is much easier to stomach because it conveniently protects your precious ego. That's why most guys will develop these types of mindsets, why most guys get shitty results and never get any better.

This is completely turned around thinking.

A. Due to predominantly low self-esteem many dudes hate it when their women dress sexy. Men are turned on by sexy or provocative clothing. They don't mind it on another woman, however, they do not want their own sister or girlfriend to be sexually advertising.

B. Everyone already knows that women are competitive bitches when it comes to 'going out' and then are are eager to cut another lady down, especially if that lady is sexy. They try to out do each other's sexuality as a way of maintaining advantage in the 'game'.

Looking for excuses to not approach is the easy way out. The trade-off is a dry dick.

This is just a personal buffer to avoid rejection. No, not all the hot girls are taken. However, if a girl is taken, that still doesn't mean you can't go home with her.

I dunno, "hot", "average", it is all in the eye of the beholder. What I might consider hot, you might consider average and vice versa. But I see your point. Perhaps a girl appears "hot" if taken, but if you find her attractive, whether single or in a relationship, she's still attractive to you, right? I think I have just crapped the bed in my understanding of this thread. haha.

So you expect us to pull out an ugly duckling in hopes one day she will be a swan? It's not that difficult to be 'hot' or 'attractive'. If she can't figure out that working out 2-3x per week, and dressing enough to show off, is what makes her look good then maybe she's not worth the effort.

Honestly I think you are just adjusting a theory (forcing) to the results you are getting and from my perspective you may need to approach more and more importantly, really start to know girls, not just getting random numbers.
