Hi, I'm using a throwaway account because of some people who might recognise me.
Anyway, this is my testimonial and what happened to me after using seddit actively for about 6 months.
I started like everyone else. I'm single. I'm 23. I had just moved abroad, to London more specifically. Only had about 3 or 4 friends. I came here, I read every guide, read every book but main ones that really did the trick were The Game, The Definitive Book of Body Language and of course, the Holy Grail - Models : Attract Women Through Honesty. When you first join this community and absorb all this knowledge, it's very very clear from the beginning that the answer of "why am I still single?" is in the "I". After learning that I was the problem, I set to work on myself and improved several aspects of my life. I exercised and lost weight, always kept my haircut nice and sharp, renewed my wardrobe, studied a lot on how to overcome my social anxiety and most of all, THE MOST IMPORTANT BIT, learn to accept rejection. I'm sure you're all tired of hearing this, but the biggest lesson of them all in this subject is : you are going to get rejected over and over again. As someone who suffered (and still does sometimes) from social anxiety, this was a nightmare to deal with but I knew that I had to fight this if I wanted to get anywhere. Once I got through those processes and after being out to meet girls several times, I had then started to have some glimpses of success. Started with a number in a bar, then kissed a girl, then kissed 2 girls in the same night in the same bar, then would pull week in and week out in the local bars and finally brought a girl home, then another. Then dated someone briefly for 3 months. After this I had made up my mind - I'm not afraid of rejection anymore. I know that when I'm confident, when I'm my best self things happen naturally. As someone who started with really low self esteem, feeling ugly and unfit, worthless, after working all those issues above, I started getting more and more compliments. People would meet me, and 10 minutes after were telling me how handsome I was or how confident and really easy to talk to whilst in my mind I had no idea those things were happening, very deep down I felt that I was faking it. But it comes to a point where it doesn't matter, as long as other people perceive you that way.
As I said, after living through all that I was finally enjoying life. There would be nights where I wouldn't pull and I would be upset for a moment but move on. Moving on, I didn't care anymore. I stopped thinking about women and fucking women all the time. I started going out to enjoy myself and my friends. I had loads of experience and stories to tell now. How I went out one night on my own to drink and wake up the next day in another city having made a bunch of new friends. Another day, coming home at 5 am after being drinking until early morning with someone that I had just met that same night and becoming friends. All this made me realise that it's all about meeting people, being nice to people, not being scared of being someone you're not if that means trying new things - this doesn't mean you should do things that really make you uncomfortable like drugs or something - but do try to be spontaneous.
Months pass and I'm in the same bar I always went with my friends, just enjoying my night when I see this woman in a wheelchair. She was in the bar with a couple of friends. I felt sorry for her at first but then realised she was killing the dance floor! She was really going for it. She was having fun. I felt "this is what this is about". I decided to approach her and start a conversation. I wasn't trying to pull or anything, but everything that I've been taught from coming here and reading all those books, it's that it's not about fucking women, it's about meeting interesting people and showing yourself to them. We start chatting, she's not a local. She's from a country that speaks the same language as mine so we hit it off on the spot! We became friends from that moment and she started going out with my group of friends. One day, she asks if she can bring a friend to one of our night outs. They both arrive and her friend is cute so I try to know her better, she had just come off work and looked tired, but seemed genuinely a nice person so I got her number. We also speak the same language. We set up a date. Date comes and I finally see her with proper lights, not in the typical blue dim lighting you get in a club, and she's stunning. She's doesn't have her work clothes, she's dressing tight shorts and has a nice cleavage. She's a proper 10 and I am speechless. 1 year ago and I wouldn't have dreamt of going on a date with a woman like this. We sit down and we start chatting when she asks for my age but won't tell hers. I know I look a lot older - I'm 23 but look about 28. She looks about 28/29. I didn't want her to be turned off by my age and judge our relationship from then on based on an age gap, so I suggest we kiss each other on the lips first then she can decide whatever she wants to do. She doesn't say anything so I just go for it and kiss her. She then asks my age, I tell her I'm 23. She literally gasps and opens her mouth in disbelief. After insisting for a long time she confesses she's...33. That's right guys. I managed to go on a date with a gorgeous woman who is 11 years older than me and I couldn't believe it. I didn't care what happened next. Everything that I've learned, all the fears that I've put behind led me to that date. Fast forward 3 years, we are now married and have a beautiful daughter. The baby wasn't planned, but was a blessing in my life.
Don't take me wrong, not everything is perfect. The age gap sometimes creates friction as we perceive life in a different way, but from my perspective I firmly believe that the purpose of belonging to this community is to ultimately lead to your happiness and I think I've found it.
