If you approach a girl at a party and she is into you do you stick with her for a while or do you walk off after like 10 minutes and come back to pull later on?

My success in party scenarios have always been to make a good first impression with a girl and then do my own thing and later on in the night reconnect. I honestly do this subconsciously. If you make a really good first impression and connect and then back away a little bit it builds up

It depends on two things: How into you she is or how fast you want to leave the party.

You have to decide what's more important to you.

If you choose to make your decision according to her interest and she's really into you (i.e. bordering on saying or doing things that basically scream "fuck me now!") then you can pull. You only need a lame ass excuse to get out of there.

If she's into you but not that much that she's willing to leave with you immediately then in a party situation you're better off leaving the interaction after a few minutes to talk to more people and build up social proof and pre-selection.

Now if you're going based on how long you want to be at the party then find out her logistics and devise a plan based on how long you want to be there.

Who's she there with?

What are her plans later?

Does she have other commitments?

What is she there for in the first place?

Where is her dorm/does she live on campus?

Does she need a ride home?

Does she have a ride home?

If you want to get out of there quick then you devise a plan to do that based on her answers. If you want to stay a bit then you devise a plan to make sure she stays, like introducing her to your female friends (your guy friends might try to fuck her for themselves) or have her group involved in something going on at the party.

If she was putting alot of energy into our interaction I would keep things going. If she was kinda off/on or distracted I would try to get her number and play hot/cold a bit to foster interest.

A group of 10 friends where you are the only fuckable guy there? For sure. It's called Push/Pull and especially if there's another girl there you can feign interest in, she will get jealous quick.

Depends. If it's moving fast and as good as I want it to, I see no reason to pull back and come back later. There's been girls I was making out with them after even less than 5 minutes, I'm not gonna walk off if after that, it would actually make it worse, in my opinion.

If she doesn't show 100% interest, or is going a bit slow, then yes, walk away and come back later, but if she's basically all over you, stay and pull her right away.

Party is supposed to build. I have come back to get a pull and close. But honestly you could do anything. Either way.

There is not exactly one type of college party-- there are quite a few. I always had the most success with pulling a girl or group of them into my "orbit" or circle for the night and spending a pretty decent amount of time with them. Generally, I've found that the more time you spend with a girl at a party, the more likely something is going to happen.

College life is different from bars in that almost everyone at the party knows quite a few other people there. In this context, when a girl spends time with you, she is actively signalling to all other men that she is interested in you. And you are doing the same to her. The difference is, when women do this, it lowers their value to other men. When men do it, it raises their value to other women.

It's a pretty unfair double standard, but it works to our advantage. My advice is to keep a flirty tone to the whole interaction-- you can't just have some serious conversation with her, it has to be fun. You have to build a common narrative. Creating inside jokes of some kind is also good. Telling stories is good (particularly, ones that showcase your better qualities).
