A well placed insult to a woman is more effective than a fist.

"Ow! That's a good punch! Must be because you have so much weight behind it!"

Or tell her how manly and masculine she's being, give her the nickname "Butch" and make a point of calling her that with every interaction.

Women are used to guys walking on eggshells around them so putting effort into a withering insult will leave them with a complex for at least a week or two.

If it's playful: A) 'Save it for the bedroomwink' if it's in public B) if it's in private, tackle her, tear her clothes off and fuck her.

If it's not: Get. Out. Get up and leave. Walk away. If it's at work, inform your boss you will not subject yourself to physical harassment. If it's in private, get your things and go. Consider turning your phone on and recording.

If you want to stay friendly, try to tease them about it. "If you want to touch me, just ask, no need to be violent." or "Jeez you're worse than a cat" or "Nice shot, now it's my turn!" (jokingly of course). If they don't get the hint, you can add "but seriously, it's unpleasant, don't do that".

As for their attitude, yeah it sucks. I'm guessing women don't see violence the way men do, because they're less likely to have to exercise violence or be subjected to it, so they still have childish attitudes towards it.

You're a bit vague on how exactly these women hit you, or why exactly they would want to hit you at all.

Hitting can be a good thing, a playful open handed slap to the arm or chest, a reactionary punch to the arm or body when you're teasing her, ect. These are clear signs of interest.

However, if by hitting you're referring to something along the lines of a forcefully deliberate slap or punch to the face, or perhaps a knee to the groin, that's not ok at all. In fact that is unacceptable and MUST NOT BE TOLERATED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE regardless of who she is. Friend, acquaintance, family or stranger, she must be dealt with swiftly and effectively.

Before I go into my opinion on the matter at hand I'd like to share with you my perspective on your disdain for violence. I implore you my brother to change this yesterday, it is impractical and unrealistic. We are only as civilized as our higher functions allow us, the animal inside is still there, and to ignore it is foolish. I understand that its hard to do something you don't agree with, but it doesn't matter whether you agree with it or not, it is what it is, and it will not change for you.

Physical violence is an inevitability, because its part of being human, it is something we all have to deal with regardless of our gender. Denying this puts you at an unnecessary disadvantage. We live in a world where people physically overpower others on a daily basis, wake up and realize that people see through your intimidating stature, they sense your gentle nature, and will take advantage of it if they have the chance.

It is important to remember that people only take advantage of those who allow it, it is your fault. Some guys are regular recipients of violence from women, I've experienced enough socially to understand that the reason behind this is because women have a dogs sense for weakness in men. We all know enough to know that women will be far more likely to boost their egos by stepping on the heads of others if they are sure that they can get away with it. Trust me, you'll get no respect from them for being timid or non-violent, they'll appreciate it until the day comes when you are the easiest pickings.

I'm not going to tell you to go out and slap the shit out of some woman who thinks she can get physical with you with impunity, but I will say that if she hits you something needs to be done to make sure she regrets it. Most violence can be negated before it even starts with body language and confidence. People read each other without even knowing it, and know long before they meet a man that he is not to be fucked with.

The last time a woman physically disrespected me, I slapped her so hard she swallowed the mercury filling in her back molar. I waited until witnesses saw her as the clear aggressor, then let loose the right hand of Zeus.

Regardless of gender, you must never allow any individual to disrespect you physically, set that boundary and be willing to deliver consequences If the dare cross the threshold.

It depends on the context, for sure. If it's playful then it's just another way to flirt (think 6th grade, pulling pigtails of the girls you liked). Flirt back, comment on how she must like being rough, etc etc.

If it's in anger, then I personally see it as a shit test. She's like a child pushing the boundaries to see what she can get away with, and if you'll put up with it or not. In these scenarios, I always ask them "would it be ok for me to hit you like this? No? Then knock it off, I won't put up with it". This is a great example of TRP's theory "women are like children".

When it's not flirting, absolutely do not put up with it. Calmly explain to her why hitting isn't ok, and if she keeps doing it then next her because it's a sign of emotional immaturity.

What is the context? I think it's strange you think they're testing you by hitting you. I'd propose it means you already failed a test if they dare to hit you.

OP, are you a big guy? It sounds like this is all 3rd grade hair-pulling and teasing. They are enjoying the fact that they can haul off and slug you with most/a lot of their strength and it doesn't seem to faze you. Probably gives them the tingles. PUAs call this an IOI (indicator of interest). What are you supposed to do? Escalate. Dominate them physically. Grab their arm/wrist and man-handle them into a funny/submissive position. Laugh at them. Swat their ass.

This happens to men all the time. When I was in my 40s - pre TRP, btw - a super cute hb8.5 [18F] at work would do stuff like this to me all the time. I wasn't quite sure how to handle it, but I found it pretty annoying - because I didn't know what it really meant. Had I known that she was interested in giving me her cherry, I'd've responded a bit differently - more aggressively. As it happened, I got written up, she got annoyed/frustrated and gave it up to a good - and much younger friend of mine. Oh, well.

Society has expectations of you, that you need to fulfill in order to reap the benefits society has to offer. When a girl hits you, she is playing on your turf, which gives you all the power, and if you brush it off and treat her like a little girl, it builds tons of attraction. Also, get used to violence, It's good for you, especially if you avoid an angry or aggressive mindset, and instead adopt a jaunty attitude to it. Imagine a Bear Grills, or Steve Erwin like attitude.

In my experience, girls like to "hit" strong guys in a playful way. I've gotten it a lot, specially if the topic of me training MMA comes up. Go along with it: "is that all you got? ;)"

Helps to understand the biology underneath. It's the same as a shit test for them, but physicalized and even more primitive. A female will direct some abuse at the male, just to see what he does.

Ideally what the male should do is exactly what we see in the above clip - his tingle-inducing dominant response. (it's also hilarious). How applicable or acceptable this is in the modern context really varies, but if you can pull the same thing off without looking like the bad guy & getting attacked by 10 white knights in shining armor, then problem solved. You don't want "I'm against violence so pls stop", you want "I'm a lot scarier at violence than you, so why don't you think again before you do that shit".

If what you're talking isn't playful flirty hitting on the arm, and it keeps on happening, then you have a loose cannon bitch. I want to know what your deal is with "I hate violence". Yeah sure, no one likes someone getting hurt or shot or killed or the fuck have you, but play-violence is totally normal. Have you ever seen two dogs play? How they bolster and snap and fight? Do you refuse to pound someones fist because it's an emulation of a violent act? Do you know how little boys and girls show that they "like" someone? Typically teasing, pulling hair, hitting them, it's really basic and normal human behavior.

My ex tried to hit me once, at the begining of our relationship. I directly told her that I would take it : "Look, I'm not going to hit you, but that means you're not going to hit me either, ever". She tried to do it again a few days later, to test me. I dropped a deadlook to her, stated again that I wasn't going to accept that : "Equality : I don't hit you, you don't hit me. I'm dead serious".

She never hit me again after that, for 2.5 years. Just set rules.
