The funny thing is that Neil got married but hadn't left the game, if you read his book The Truth.

D'Angelo was never the documented player that Neil was, but plenty of guys like Paul Janka and Tucker Max sowed their oats when young and then said it was a big mistake when they got old (and less commercially viable/relevant)

Hugh Hefner teaches us that you don't ever need to stop, if that's what you want to do. You have to build your life around slaying pussy though.

It isnt due to aging, it is due to change of preferences. You didnt stop playing with toys because there was a shortage, you did because your desires changed.

Did david d'angelo ever actually indulge in any practical pua? As far as I'm aware all he used to do was talk about it on stage, interview so-called puas and sell a shit load of dvds. I think he just studied pua theory and pretended he was a master.

I honestly do think that for a lot of people, their results get worse (when trying to attract the hot YOUNG girls who tend to be the most desired) as they get older and less physically attractive/suitable etc - and then they exit the game

Tyler bragged about his game getting better and better, but his most recent youtube vids where he went state to state (his last actual 'game' vids before he deleted all that stuff) he seemed to be getting rejected by the 18-25 girls on the whole and only getting makeouts and stuff with more age appropriate women, also often with the help of his 'swinging' girlfriend lol.

No I don't think that age alone is a factor.

The lifestyle of traveling frequently to put on bootcamps, and the late hours and sometimes alcoholic indulgence is probably a grind. Many coaches therefore try to re-tool their skills to monetize them in a less burnout-inducing way ... and become the infamous "lifestyle coach" but I'll bet it's difficult.

Richard La Ruina it seems, invested in a PUA video game but he got banned by the PC police from game publishing sites (or something) so that idea crapped out as far as I know.

Neil Strauss seems to want to be a kind of "eminence grise" or coach emeritus based on his fame from writing The Game and other books. I guess he's entitled to it but I have no idea what that means for his income and what kind of coaching he could actually deliver. To me, The Game is barely about game, except as an inspirational example of an older, short, bald, nebbish guy taking steps and getting good with women for the first time in his life.

Mystery and Beckster still do tons of bootcamps and have a lot going on ... they seem quite energetic.

Kezia Noble seems to have a fairly large operation going with coaches working for her and she seems to deliver professional sounding podcasts pretty regularly. Even though her book (The Noble Art of Seduction) is seldom mentioned and many (wannabe) PUAs totally trash the idea of a female pickup coach. For the record, I think her book is good and I like her honesty in describing how guys have seduced her. Her current and former male coaches seem to have their act together. A couple of them are good follows on youtube with useful advice and infields.

Tom Torero maybe flamed out (?) but I check Yad's site daygame.com and if I'm not mistaken, he's still been teaching up to December 2019. I always liked Yad and never thought much of TT so as far as I'm concerned, it's all good.

And you know ... there are so many great younger coaches in their 20s and 30s, it hardly matters what the older coaches do except for sentimental reasons ... they'll sort themselves out.
