As a physically fit, ambitious, and pretty good looking 21-year-old, I tend to have high standards when I approach women. I don’t mean to sound egotistical but I’d rather initiate a conversation and eventually settle with a girl that has at least the same level of my looks. I’m below average height, so the heights of girls are also factors in my screening process.

I won’t deny that this hardheaded mentality has been holding me back when going out and trying to hook up with women. I’ve been able to attract average-looking girls with my charisma and humor. However, I’ve found it difficult to find the more attractive ones and thus create better opportunities for myself. Is it normal to be this selective during the cold approach process?
