You should know that there is a subtle but big difference between being a bad boy and a jerk. Bad boys tend to love and own themselves and aren't afraid to show it because they aren't afraid of other people's reactions. Jerks tend to be arrogant narcissist that are overcompensating for the fact that they don't like themselves and they fear other people's reactions. It isn't obvious if you're looking at it at surface level, but the bad boy is real, the jerk is fake.

Usually,in the beginning, you don’t want to ask to many questions and you don’t want to over compliment her. If you go with assumptions, statements, observations and cold-reads in the first minutes of the interaction it should be wassup. When finally she begins showing attraction (begins asking questions, good eye-contact) you can begin building a connection with her. You can say something like : “Tell me something about you, obviously you’re cute, but tell me something about you”, BUT ONLY WHEN SHE SHOWS ATTRACTION.

The real question is: why do you care? You’re obviously not a bad boy bc if you were you wouldn’t be asking. So that leaves two choices in my mind:

1) it’s for academic reasons like if you’re writing a book or a paper on the subject or

2) it’s because you want to see if people can answer it for you so you can copy it bc you heard that women love bad boys.

So why are you bothering to ask?

I don’t advocate for being a bad boy/jerk since you really don’t need to be one. However I won’t deny that they are often successful. It’s nothing to do with them being bad, it’s more a case of them being confident and direct in their approach without giving a fuck about rejection. Bad boys/jerks tend to be the type who naturally doesn’t care much what others think. You should be aiming to simply channel that instead of trying to be a bad boy/jerk.

Second of all, I don't think we have any self-proclaimed jerks here. We're all decent people who for some reason have / have had issues with approaching women and we are trying to fix those issues by helping each other.

I first joined this community as well as many others a few years ago, from another account which I deleted because I needed a break from reddit. I've gradually managed to learn to pull chicks in a couple of minutes. Currently in a 13 month relationship and counting and I just come here from time to time to try and help those guys who are at that beginner stage. I'm glad I deleted that account because some of my posts were just stupid, looking back. Like the one you're making right now, but don't worry. You will improve in time and achieve your goals.

Just cut the nonsense. You don't need to be a jerk or a tryhard bad boy in order to attract a girl. You need to be a genuine guy that's gonna show her a good time. That's literally it.
