Hey stop rating the women and just go for it. If you made the other women happy that you’ve been with there is no reason you won’t make the higher level women happy. Being funny, charming, thoughtful and generous is worth it’s weight in gold. Nicely groomed, a nice smile, complementary to her. You will do great!

The quick answer is to stop comparing yourself to others.

The long answer is complicated and costly.

A psychological trick may help you modify your self-image.

So, you should come to the realization that sexual market value (perceived status) is more than looks. It is also psychological health, physical health, emotional maturity, intelligence, drive, career, etc. Meaning your comparison is flawed from the begging if only judged by looks.

Digging a little deeper, I think you will find that the only person you will be able to judge with any accuracy is yourself. Understand yourself first. Then try to understand others without any prejudgment on looks or anything else. Learn through conversation and connection who the other person is and if you have common interests to form a foundation in having a relationship.

Only talk to women you perceive to be better than you from this point on. You'll eventually get used to it and ease up when communicating with them.

Just don't go into it expecting not to get rejected while you're getting used to it, its a natural part of the process.

This mindset will end when you stop putting women on a pedestal. How attractive are these women? Unless they're Gal Gadot-tier they're not "too good for you."

Easy enough. This has helped me in the past. First, try to get out of your head. Second, there's no such thing as a perfect person. There is always something that is not the picture perfect idea of superficial beauty e.g (teeth spacing, gum visible, eye brow not even, mole in strange place, etc). Try to find whatever it is that you think is a "flaw", and focus on it. It will help remind you that whoever you're speaking to is still a person with her own flaws from your version of picture perfect... Don't focus on the flaw to stop you. Use it to help you! Remember that each persons flaw is what makes that person unique and who they are. Good luck!

The attractive women are much more fun to talk to because they're usually more comfortable with themselves but this is my experience. If you tried they would probably be excited to find somebody confident giving them attention and it'd go a lot better than you thought.

The operative phrase here is "who I perceive to be better looking than me"

It's not women who are better looking, it's women OP perceives as being better looking. There are a lot of women who are 10s to some guys and 7s to others. OP probably would have no trouble picking up an 8 he perceives to be a 5.

The problem is that if the guy thinks he's reaching, he acts differently. And women can smell that.

Basically, you have two choices. You can develop inner game and your self-perception so that you raise your assessment of your SMV. You have to have such high perception of yourself that no one is out of your league.

Or, you can lower your perception of her SMV. The hints below such as focus on an unattractive part of her works by doing. Desensitization also works.

Or, you have to remind yourself that looks are just part of the SMV. And talk yourself into believing "this girl may look good but I'm sure she's got some issues."

That attractive appeal is because most of those women spend a lot of time and money on their appearance.

Make up, skin care, hair care and exercise will make many women appear to be out of your league.

When the make up gets washed off and they wake up farting with bed head and crusted eyes, then you will feel more on the same level.
