There is thousands of micro nuisances associated with non verbal communication, but they can all be put into two categories: inviting or dismissive. It's pretty easy to let your instincts categorize the different cues only using 2 categories.

Dismissive cues are simple, they explain themselves, best to walk away and not try to generate a vibe that isn't there. This is good news. You know not to waste time that u can't get back.

Be even more aware of the inviting cues, they are both good and bad news: These are all interest tests, regardless if the girl is aware she is testing. This is the girl trying to confirm if the guy is as preselected as she initially thought he was by baiting him into lifting his emotions or to get "giddy" that a cute girl might like him. If the guy behaves like he is more interested in the girl than she is in him, that red flag goes off in her girl brain telling her that he can't do better than her and he is beneath her.

Unless you have absolutely no understanding of social cues, just observe and trust your gut feeling. Old school pick up advice was to look for 3 indicators of interest, things like eye contact, standing nearby, open body language, asking what your name is, etc

How can you tell? I guess you look at them, but if you don't ask, you can't read their minds and you'll never know what's happening.

Firstly, there are youtube videos on body language, watch them, then forget them, the subconscious mind will know what to do.

Secondly, the field has the answers, so assume attraction, then make a move and see what happens.

Thirdly, stop overthinking this, make a damn move.

You will miss 100% of the chances/approaches/kisses/lays you don't take.
