Because there are consequences to being an asshole as a man.

You act the asshole at the wrong guy on the wrong day and there is a non-zero chance you get punched or even shot. Women are used to being immune to consequences of bad behavior, up to and including assault, sexual or otherwise.

I've learned not to care what they think. And it makes them wild. Plus, women can't really do anything to you. They just convince or lobby other men to punish you.

Depends on the men and women.

In general, my experience is men are often friendlier to men they're first meeting because when women are friendly to men there are a minority of men who will misinterpret that as flirting and make things weird. Again, not the majority of men, but talk to any server and they'll have stories about guys who take their niceness because they want a tip as them being interested in the guy.

Men tend to be less guarded about other guys which lets us be friendlier with each other.

I get along better with women than with men. What I mean is, women tend to be more positive and receptive towards me than men do, so most of my friends are women

I think it's how ppl read how others come off along with how their day is going. I've met both men and women, who Im sure thought they were being bubbly and cheerful but their posture and tone to me read as I need to have my guard up. Humans are a complex species, too much so for generalizations like that

It's evolutionary. Women are weaker so they develop a more unfriendly attitude (specially against male strangers) as a protective measurement. They always suspect in the back of their mind the stranger guy wants to kill/reap them, I guess this type of assumptions has presented evolutionary advantages to our female ancestors.

This is not excusing it, this is explaining it maybe. I think that because women are taught to be catty and competitive with each other, they are not friendly to each other very much.

Neither of us is more friendly than the other. We have preferences for who we're friendly to. You're probably more likeable by men than women.
