I'm proud of my friends and loved ones, especially if they do something that I know must have taken courage or been difficult for them. Their gender is entirely irrelevant to this.

Even when they genuinely do admire/respect/ or are proud of another man, they won't outright just say it lol

How often is it even that men tell other women they are proud of them? Is that actually a thing? Honestly, even if it is a thing, it's probably just because they feel more comfortable expressing themselves to other women, because they don't feel as judged or competitive around them.

This isn't about men feeling superior to women.

I will never compliment the work of a woman outside of my own family members as I am likely to be falsely accused of being a creep which is a synonym for predator. It's already happened to me.

The hive mind of women will then listen and believe the female accuser with no right for the male to respond or even know he has been accused. This is how women do it with everything via their girl groups or now known as whisper networks.

Essentially: Equality is not women taking a teacher or judge position with men. I have no problem taking lessons from a female teacher (most of mine were female) or orders from a female boss. But I have a problem with women thinking they're sex puts them in some kind of sage role and start talking to men in a patronizing or condescending way because that feels 'empowering', while being very touchy about a man's choice of words or tone. Symmetry is a very basic concept.

Context matters here. If it's a situation where it would make sense to be proud of a man or a boy, then it also makes sense to be proud of a woman or a girl. If it's a situation where it doesn't make sense to be proud, then that also applies both ways.

In my previous career I played roles, of varying size, in guiding people to develop their skills and find their calling, even if that calling turned out to be a very different kind of job from what I was managing. A few of those men, and one woman, have gone on to much better things, and I'm proud to have played any role at all in guiding them towards that success. People are "made" in other senses besides the biological one. Even between peers of equal rank, there is pride to be had in working alongside excellent people.

Furthermore, suppose someone is put up for adoption, as an infant, by their biological parents. A different couple, of no biological relation, adopts that infant and does all the hard work of parenting and helping that infant grow up into an adult who becomes highly successful at something. If that person's biological parents, who physically "made" that person, then talk about how proud they are of that person, what do we think of them? Do we think that they have more of which to be proud than the adoptive parents who actually put in the work?
