If a girl met up with you for a date, she knows what she’s getting herself into. It doesn’t matter if she was just dating someone before, has a husband, says she’s not sexual, etc. They chose to come see you for a reason. It’s because they were curious about what would happen.

Some of them are probably just giving you shit tests so I’d continue escalating during the dates, up until there’s some type of rejection.

For instance, if things are going well & you’re making out with the girl who just got out of a relationship & she starts crying. You can comfort her a little but keep it going. Otherwise, I wouldn’t waste your time on it because she’s probably not over her ex.

Another instance is if you’re flirting with a girl & are trying to escalate by kissing her or touching her hands & she brushes that off, then take that as strike 1. You can keep talking to her & if she rejects you again then just excuse yourself, end the date & politely leave.

Maybe they’re super shy but majority of the time, if they’re not reciprocating on your advances then they’re probably just not that into you. So move on after that.

Personally, I'm past pursuing girls who like to play these games. Whatever the reason they say, they're happy for the free attention. It's great for newbies to learn and kind of a high at first but I've grown accustomed to it, it's just exhausting and waste of time. It's free validation for them and maybe fun for you in the moment, but unless you close the deal, ultimately waste of time if it doesn't go anywhere.

Personally, give a little to gauge interest, if they say they're unavailable, I take their word for it, maybe make a network or social connection. Like someone else commented here, there's plenty of women who are actually available out there. Peace over drama.

It's a meaningless saying.

Women have to deal with being slut shamed, so they tell people that they're not looking for hook ups or whatever. Anytime I've dated a woman that said that I've slept with on the first date.

Most women love sex as much as we do, but if they say they're looking to bone the guy isn't going to put in any effort to make any sort of emotional connection, which also tells women that they'll be lousy in bed and only looking out for their own desires and not hers.

ETA: I saw in the comments you meant "Instadate", as in, "Just met them and went for coffee", and not, "met them on Instagram". That being the case, what they're doing makes sense. They just met you and don't know you. It's possible to make them feel like they've known you longer, but it's also reasonable to expect that some women aren't going to want to sleep with you right away.

Like I agree that there are such things as bedroom eyes and non verbal indicators of interest but I don't believe you have the discernment to know when to actually it's resistance / hesitancy vs a clear boundary. This sounds like you're not indicating sexual interest or your not establishing something more concrete if you genuinely want to date. So imo you weren't being direct. Most likely you just gave them a physical compliment and said you wanted to meet them. Which is just vague enough to get a Convo going but not enough to establish your intentions .

Why didn't you make out then if she was giving you permission through her eyes? This is the other evidence that makes me believe you are not reading the entirety of the situations correctly. Why not address the comment or go on your feeling ? If you knew it was bedroom eyes I feel like you would've acted on it. There's also other ways to confirm if she wants to make out besides just going for it but I don't fault you for not knowing them.

So that being said I would stick to getting and giving verbal consent. And I would not try to read into a girl telling you she's not interested in you on an instadate

Hmmm, I'm not sure what you're doing wrong, when I've had lmr it was because I was being impatient or too pushy. If you're having troubles closing, it could be a litany of reasons, lack of attraction, space, or comfort for her.

Look at her actions, not her words. These sound like shit tests to me, or the necessity for them to for build more comfort before the seduction.
