Hi everyone, my divorce agreements states that I'll pay health insurance for my kids, as I have been for the past few years. Recently, my ex is asking that they be moved to her insurance. This is fine with me, and so far she's not asking me to pay anything additional, but our divorce paperwork is using me paying health insurance costs in calculation for support payments. Is it ok if I terminate the existing insurance once she furnishes proof she's insured them, as this is being done at her request? Is there any CYA stuff I should be doing?
Update: I have a consultation with a lawyer, thanks so much for the advice everyone, I've needed to do this for a long time anyways for a number of reasons so happy to be moving forward so I can take the safest action moving forward
