Context is everything. Holding something cause you notice she’s struggling is a whole lot different than her saying “hold this” and expecting you to do it, especially if it’s something she could easily manage herself.

My wife is a smoking hot former D1 athlete who makes an insane amount of money at her job. I got her by being a conventional “beta” (although I do step up to the plate with things she struggles with, like decisiveness for example).

Don’t get your mind convoluted with all these hard and fast rules that limit you to certain results. I was made fun of my entire life for being the way I am. But being genuine, kind and not caring appearance created a life for myself I never would have dreamed of.

All these things are a balance and they all Depend on the circumstances and context. If you are always asking women for validation, getting friendzoned, supplicating etc.. kick her fucking purse and don’t hold it.

If you are a dominant masculine guy, you are messing with her, teasing, being independent etc. Hold the purse and she’ll appreciate it too.

Okay, there is actually nothing wrong with doing nice things, the problem is covert contracts, or basically you shouldn't do anything extra nice for her without telling her why you are doing it, for example if you would give any friend a ride to work you are free to do the same for her, but if the only reason you are doing it for her is because you want to fuck her, you should playfully tell her, then she will either fuck you or leave lol

They can put their purse to the side and continue to do what they need to. Instead they ask a man to hold it, and slowly but surely they will up the tests they give you if you comply.
