I primarily use Hinge, and while I’ve had fairly good luck getting responses by coming up with funny/thoughtful responses to girls prompts, it seems like at least 3/4 of the women on the app have very vague prompts. I.e., very basic or vague statements that don’t really give you much to work with in terms of initiating conversation.

Do you guys have any advice regarding “generalized” openers or conversation starters? I’m aware online dating is a crapshoot and a numbers game, but I’d like to try and up my number of conversations and not simply write off everyone with a boring profile.
