I’m wrapping up my third semester of college, and despite being social and active, I’m struggling to connect with women romantically. I’m fit, well-dressed, and always make sure I smell good. I have no problem talking to women—I’m friends with most of my friends’ girlfriends and other platonic female friends (none that I’m attracted to). I go out to bars and socialize about three times a week, and I’ve approached countless women, but the conversations often feel insincere, revolve around basic topics like school, and fizzle out with awkward silences.

Recently, I haven’t been approaching as much because I don’t know what to say. It might be a confidence issue, but I’m not nervous or anxious around women at all—I’m calm, but I just hit a blank wall. I feel like I’m not meeting enough women or forming meaningful connections. For context, I’m in a decent fraternity and overall outgoing, but I need help improving my social skills and getting better results. Three semesters, 0 success—could really use some advice. Thanks!
